TO Poll... your age and approval or disapproval

i dont really get that myself. so the team signed a player you dont really like, its not the first time and it wont be the last time either.

i like playing football and watching football, the cowboys have always been my favorite team and always will be. im not going to deny myself those pleasures just because management made a decision that i didnt agree with. those things are out of my control.

I agree if I stopped watching everything the franchise did something I did not like I would not be much of a fan of the team. Fact is even under Landry there were moves that I did not always agree with but in the end you hope they can make it work. I may not like TO for several reasons but I refuse to cut off my nose to spite my face. I hope this deal with TO works because if it does then we end up with one of the best WR in the league but anyone who will deny the downside of TO or the possibility that this fails just as it did for Philly and to a certain extent San Fran is kidding themselves because just like them this could blow up in our face.

I'm 67 and I hope he never plays a down in a Cowboys uniform and I also hope Jerry Jones has to eat his entire cap hit and gets nothing for it. If I were a season ticket holder, I would cancel my subscription and go fishing.

German Browns, bitting on the San Juan right now. ;)

I'm curous as to fans age and whether or not they approve of TO as a Cowboy or not...
42 I think everyone's age should be posted by their name.
As a Bledsoe and TO hater I should probably be amused that TO is here since a meltdown between the two is going to happen, throw in that fat bastid coach of the Giants (Parcells) and it's actually tough to be a Cowboys fan at times for me. Like always though come game time I'll be living and dying with the Cowboys like I always do. In the end TO will screw this team up like he always has. TO is all about TO and always will be. Hopefully we can win a Championship first.

You got to admit many of the comments we see here are very similar to the comments that were taking place in Philly when TO 1st signed there.

I do see it very clearly. In my case, I was one of the fans that welcomed TO into the nest. I was wrong! Now that doesn't necessarily mean that TO will do the encore performances that he did when he was with the 49ers or the Eagles. Those incidents could have very well have been part of his "growing" or maturation process. But for me, the damage was too deep. Like it or not, I attribute at least 45% of the Eagles poor performance during the 2005 regular season, to ...none other, TO! That said, I cannot take anything away from his skills as a top-notch Cowboys Wide Reveiver in the NFL.
To me that has been the most humorous part of this whole deal, seeing Cowboy fans who have openly slammed TO when he was not a Cowboy now doing a 180 on the guy because he is a member of the team now when the only thing about TO that has changed is the uniform

Sure, some Cowboy fans have done a 360 degree turnaround; but there are still many who are sticking to their guns on him -- I'm impressed. We get a lot of flack about Eagle fans being so rougish (not all of us ...but the few outweigh the many in some instances). But some Cowboy fans (not all) have really been hypocritical in their total distain and turnaround total love for the player that one day came to town and disrespected the Cowboys logo. I guess money talks ...

Perhaps Bill Parcels will be able to handle him ...otherwise you guys may just very well have satan by the horns.

The 2006 regular season will be very exciting! Not so much because of TO, but because the NFC-East is a Beast!

It can be as long as there are no explosions at Valley Ranch this season.

Sorry, my friend, but, there are going to be lots of explosions in many places this season...and that will be when Glenn, T.O., Witten, Fasano "explode" through NFL defenses this season! :)

Not the kind I'm talking about. If TO can act like a man for a change this has a great chance to work however if he continues down the same road he has in the past he can hurt a team

34 and LOVE IT!, his signing made my offseason.

A paid T.O. is a happy T.O. Unless of course he has a fruity QB with an arm to weak to get him the ball after running 60 yards, over, and over again (Garcia).

53 and I disaprove, but not because of the star incident. I think we should be going younger at the WR and QB positions along with the RB position. When he's thru in a couple of years, as well as Terry, who's our go to guy, plus, we'll have to draft a qb in a couple of years too. We're mediocre now and will be starting over at the qb and wr positions in a couple of years. I just don't see us winning anything anytime soon with this plan.

What we did is basically switch Johnson for Owens. We can easily draft our WR of the future next season when the draft class is much stronger than the likes of Chad Jackson and Santonio Holmes. Same goes for QB. I don't see how the relative age of either has any impact on the validity of the decision. No matter what, if Owens was here or not, we would have to draft replacements very soon.

Or, if he has a fat, overpaid QB, who vomits under pressure because his momma fed him too much Chunky Soup before the game!

I agree. I did not want to see Dallas reach for a WR in this past draft, this is something we can address next off-season when the WR crop will be better. Same for QB I don't want to grab a guy just for the sake saying we drafted a QB

Younger at rb? None of our rb's are over 25 (I think). How much younger do you want them?
