31-99: Waiting to see how he behaves before I pass judgement, right him off or totally dismiss him.

What happened to that category?

I think we all have 1 thing in common and that is to see this franchise back at the top. Where we differ is how you get there. If this TO situation ends up being 1 year and then a big blowup then in my book it is a failure, if he can keep himself under control and last the entire length of the contract and or possibly extend the deal then this will be a great situation for this team. I think the ball is in TO court what he does with this opportunity is all on him.

How did you feel, Dooms, when Dallas made the trade for Charles Haley? I'm curious because at the time he was breaking new ground in the jerk department with his public dispute with management and fist-fights and defication incidents with fellow players.

Did you have similar feelings, if not what tempered your impression back in 1992?

I had some doubts about Haley but I will say the fact that Jimmy Johnson sat down with him and discussed the issue in SF made me feel a bit better. One big difference though is TO is now on his 3rd chance Haley was given a second chance with Dallas and later a return to SF. I do believe in second chances for people and players alike but you burn me on your 2nd chance excuse me if I become very skeptical about the 3rd chance.

i am 36 and disapprove. i also approve the move to have owens. i also do not forget the star incident and the way he played against us as an eagle. then again the talent he now gives us on offense is the best receiver we have had since irvin.

This poll is age biased. You left no option for CBz40.:geezer:
hey show respect for your elders. CBz might be in his late 90's but he looks a like a young 89er.

Im 37 and i'm cool with TO being a cowboy. Though im not like, thinking TO is gonne be the bst player ion the tem even. just cuz tghe type of offense bill runs, but its a huge upgrade over what w e had and so why not be for it.... like the way the contract is structured, not worried a bit.

I also think that cowboys will not be so relying on TO as eagles were. if we run 2 TE set, have 2 decent TE's, treey glen, 2 good rb's, well then TO is just icing on the cake, not the whole enchilda.

BTW sory for bad typing and poor english, just a 6 pack tonight with no food yet, but was 1st day in 1 month i didnt have to work. yeeha !!!
