TO Poll... your age and approval or disapproval

37. I strongly approve. TO is a playmaker and this offense lacks such players. He will be alright in Dallas. They paid him and he couldnt pull that act again and get paid like that ever again and he knows that. It is in his best interest to retire a Cowboy. He also likes to be in the spotlight and he wont have to try hard in Dallas to be there whereas in Philly & SF he had to create drama to get attention.

I am shocked how a poll like this has turned around from being such a anti-TO sentiment to a pro-TO sentiment since we signed him. I remember very well what those polls were like immediately following last year when the hot rumor was we were going to sign him.

24....

strongly approved ever since Irvin hinted at Owens being a Cowboy last season.

I'm declining to take the poll. He's a Cowboy, and that's a fact. Not much we can do about it, so either root for him or not. If you hate it enough, root for a completely different team. No point in complaining because it won't do any good.

For the record, I'm 35.

i think the idea was that the majority of younger fans would be pro TO and the older ones would not.

This poll suggests otherwise. a lot of people scoffed at the idea of TO as a cowboy, i know i did, didnt think it would happen. Guess now that some time has passed and all the offseason moves have kind of sunk in, a lot of people who at first balked at the idea of owens as a cowboy are now enthusiastic about cowboys offense.

i have man love for him! NOT in a gay way, but he is the truth and will prove all doubters wrong!!!!!!

Old enough to vote...ACKNOWLEDGE the talent/threat; DISAPPROVE of his tarnished reputation/off-field antics; and APPROVE/GRATEFUL that he is no longer an EAGLE.

You got to admit many of the comments we see here are very similar to the comments that were taking place in Philly when TO 1st signed there. To me that has been the most humorous part of this whole deal, seeing Cowboy fans who have openly slammed TO when he was not a Cowboy now doing a 180 on the guy because he is a member of the team now when the only thing about TO that has changed is the uniform. I always knew FA would lead to the situation of fans slamming a guy one day when he is playing else where to drooling over him when he comes to your team.

I'm 67 and I hope he never plays a down in a Cowboys uniform and I also hope Jerry Jones has to eat his entire cap hit and gets nothing for it. If I were a season ticket holder, I would cancel my subscription and go fishing.

So how about you quit watching the Cowboys all together until he's gone?

Wait. We have already had dramatics around here vow to do that.

i dont really get that myself. so the team signed a player you dont really like, its not the first time and it wont be the last time either.

i like playing football and watching football, the cowboys have always been my favorite team and always will be. im not going to deny myself those pleasures just because management made a decision that i didnt agree with. those things are out of my control.

Agree. If players took that line of thinking, they'd be leaving their own teams all the time. I'm sure they have teammates that they don't like. They don't though because they'd be quitting on all the people they do like and, well, just quitting.

Sometimes you just have to deal with players who you aren't crazy about... whether you're a fan or a player... or even a coach for that matter. It happens.
