Fellas, I think this Eagles team is going to implode thanks in large part to TO. God bless you TO for making the NFC East easier to win this year! Props to Michael Irvin for stirring it up. ;) Has TO ever found a QB he likes?

Owens discusses McNabb, his own future in Philly

PHILADELPHIA -- Terrell Owens thinks the Eagles could be undefeated at this point in the season -- if they had Brett Favre at quarterback.

In an exclusive interview with ESPN.com contributor Graham Bensinger, the outspoken wide receiver also said injuries to Donovan McNabb have slowed the Eagles (4-3) this season.

"If Donovan wasn't hurt our record would probably be better," Owens said Thursday night.

ESPN analyst Michael Irvin recently said the Eagles would be undefeated if Favre was the starting quarterback.

Asked for his thoughts on Irvin's comment, Owens said: "That's a good assessment, I would agree with that, just with what [Favre] brings to the table.

"A number of commentators will say he's a warrior, he's played with injuries. I feel like him being knowledgable about the quarterback position, I feel like we'd probably be in a better situation."

Owens returned to practice Thursday after suffering a sprained ankle in last Sunday's loss to Denver. He's listed as questionable for Philadelphia's game, but told ESPN.com, "I would say I'm closer to playing than not."

McNabb has been bothered by injuries all season. He's been hampered by a sports hernia since Week 1, and is also suffereing from a bruised chest and shin. McNabb missed his second straight practice Thursday with a rib injury and was downgraded to questionable.

Owens also hard harsh things to say about the Eagles for not publically recognizing his 100th career touchdown catch Oct. 23 at home against the Chargers.

"That right there just shows you the type of class and integrity that they claim not to be," said Owens, who became the sixth receiver in NFL history to reach the milestone. "They claim to be first class and the best organization. It's an embarrassment. It just shows a lack of class they have. My publicist talked to the head PR guy and they made an excuse they didn't recognize that was coming up. But that was a blatant lie. Had it been somebody else they probably would have popped fireworks around the stadium."

Owens, who is unhappy with his contract, said he wants to remain in Philadelphia but doesn't think that will happen.

"I just want to be happy," he said. "If it's here then I would love to be here, if not you got to move on. ... If there's a situation where they have a change of heart and come to their senses and pay me what I'm worth, then I'd be more than happy to be here.

"At this time I'm being honest with myself just trying to look toward the future and I just don't see myself really being here. It's not because I don't want to be here but I just don't foresee them doing the necessary things to keep me here."

T.O. is a joke and an embarassment to anything that represents being a teamate. He continues to display his childish and immature attitude publicly. Whether he believes what he says or not.....degrading your teamate in public is taboo in any sport at any level.

Thank goodness he will be a Raider next year.

Norv needs as much help as he can get and Al is barely above signing Lawrence Phillips. [Sarcasm]

Nothing would surprise me about this clown at this point.

Be thankful that Parcells would have no parts of this type of player, nor would Gibbs.

the Raidas would be foolish to sign TO, with already locking up Moss and Porter to huge contracts, but again, it's Al Davis running that organization lol

Irvin's comment is silly.
No way they are undefeated with Favre.
They can't run the ball and they give up too many points.
McNabb is hurt and certainly has had his issues but there record is probably the same with Favre.

Favre's thrown multiple picks in 4 of his 7 starts this yr, including last weeks 5 pick gem in Cinci...the Pack is a miserable 1-6 in large part because Favre is a turnover machine...he's on pace for nearly 30 ints and has throw a ton of balls that SHOULD have been picked in addition to the 13 he already has

yeah, Philly would be undefeated with Favre

Great news for Cowboy fans and beagles team chemistry--yes!

I think the truth be told, that TO thought he would have a Super Bowl ring by now with the Eagles and would have been on his merry way with another team by now. When it didn't work out that way, he decided to pull out his stunts to get released or traded and that hasn't worked yet either.

I truly think he thought he would only be there a year and gone. That's why he signed the contract.

Then why would he sign a seven year deal?

I only wish that TO was the holder on FG and extra point attempts.

I would love to see what would happen if Jose Cortez missed a short FG.

I hope the Eagles hold him to his contract for the next 5 years just like they did this year. If he wants out of Philly make him retire and then sue him for the remaining prorated portions of his signing bonus. Of course I don't think that will happen because the Eagles would be foolish not to get rid of this cancer.

I can't believe that he disses his team, teammates and the organization consistently and then expects them to stop the game to kiss his butt because he caught his 100th pass. Why would any team honor such a lowlife especially when most of those passes were for SF anyway. I am Sooooo glad that the Eagles fought to get this POS when by rights he should be in Baltimore; it's not like he has killed the Cowboys with his play but he has killed the Eagles team chemistry.

Yes, it is a silly comment, but here's a theory...

Maybe he said it in order to see how TO would respond to it, and TO took the bait-causing even more turmoil for ther Eagles!

YEA MIKE!!! Nice job!

I can hardly believe I'm taking a skins side with this but....

1) TO is in a class by himself as far as team cancers go. He has done more to disrupt a tram's chemistry than any other player I have ever seen. I actually think that he may just talk himself right out the the league. I'd bet most teams wouldn't take him for the vet minimum. His attitude is just not worth any level of production.

2) Taylor showed his atitude after he was drafted. If Gibbs cut him for that behavior. he'd be crucified.
