To T.O. or not to T.O. Is that still a question?

Given T.O.'s angelic attitude this past year and during this off-season, it seems he can do no wrong. Do we have ourselves a new and improved T.O.? If so, how long can he last with the Dallas Cowboys, physically, at 34?

Personally, I think he can last a long time with his new attitude if he happens to be putting in the hours working out like he obviously does. He's kinda straightened up his act and Cowboys fans, some of the toughest, have noticed that in addition to his outstanding production.

So... is T.O. or not T.O. still a question?

You make the call.

As long as he's getting the ball, he'll be a happy camper. Im still not fooling myself into thinking he's an angel.

He cares more about winning nowadays than he does about numbers. He barely did anything in both of our playoff losses, but was quick to have Tony's back after both games.

He was asked which win from the '07 season was the most special to him, and he said it was the Buffalo game. He had 2 catches for 25 yards that night.

He's a top-flight WR who wants to win and be involved in the offense... making him no different than any other star WR.

I see alot of question marks in there... but I still dont know the question you are asking?

He is a Cowboy
He just signed extension
He is happier than ever
He continues to have CAREER years with us
He and Romo are tight
He and Witten are tight
He and the Cowboys TEAM is tight with him

I could go on....

Keep going. We should have our T.O. positive notes on the forefront for when the media tries to make a bunch of stink about nothing--just because he's T.O.

But I do think he finally found the right kind of guy at quarterback. It seems kind of hard to shake Romo, no matter who you are. He can walk amongst kings and not lose the common touch and I think both are talented and that helps their relationship.

On the other hand, you know when he starts doing this to other teams, those in the media, aka fans of those teams, are going to do what they can because nobody likes to be taunted by........popcorn.

Only someone with skills as mad as T.O. could taunt you with popcorn.

I hear ya... wasnt raggin on ya either... just wasnt sure where you were going. Still not. lol

I think if he had signed the right contract the first time with the Eagles then he would have lasted a little longer. I do think that eventually McNabb would have started and then set TO off.

I really think he thought Philly was his last stop. He was REALLY happy when he first got there.

We triggered the bad blood when Roy broke his leg and forced the Eagles to answer questions like "can you do it without TO"?

lmao

I think this offense will be fine when we're running on all cylinders. With Romo we're not hurting for someone to make a play. It can happen on any one play with any player.

Heaven forbid, T.O. goes down. But if he did, I think we still have enough weapons with Barber, Witten, Crayton etc. Though I wouldn't mind them bringing in another WR, I think Romo is enough of a player to get it done with any decent cast of players. Not to mention, we've got a top 5 defense this year, in my opinion.

Don't feel bad cause you're not alone. I guess I missed the threads where people want him gone.

Oh, I guess your head was in the sand the last time the media blitzed his character and all that nonsense. Oh, well. I tried to embrace a player I once despised.

I guess I never wrote a thread about wanting him gone. But I did post on his old site back when he was an Eagle. :chainsaw:

I guess some fans have short memories. But T.O. has been far from a model player amongst the media... how that translates to reality and others' perception of him is a different story.

And I still don't know, but I gather not knowing hurt feelings.

What does this mean????????
It means that like Yo Mick, after your rambling, I still don't know what the purpose of the thread is, but I did not intend to hurt your feelings. Which it appears from your response to me, did.

As I said, it appears fans have a short memory. Not too long ago, many wanted T.O. gone and for him to be no part of this team. It seems, as my observations would gather, that T.O. has sort of turned that trend around and has now established himself a new image.

This translates to T.O. being a better player than a lot of people had first imagined due to pre-conceived notions about T.O. and his dealings in Philthy.

A lot of Cowboy fans didn't even want him here. But apparently no one, other than myself, is willing to say he proved them wrong.

He proved me wrong. I thought his attitude would be detrimental.

So, I guess my answer would be to T.O. when it was once to not T.O.

No hard feelings, it was kind of a boring night about the message board.

If memory serves me right... while many did not care for TO... once he became a Cowboy the consensus was... as long as he helps they didnt care.

I dont recall anyone saying they wanted him off the team??
