To true fellow Cowboy fans. it's OK to be excited

And this is true EVERY season. We had several number 1 seeds get knocked out by a wildcard team in the past 15v years. I guess that gm just sucked. I look forward to every season, but I never boast we are winning a super bowl. That's just stupid. NOBODY was credibly picking Seattle last year.
Not many GM’s survive 3 decades without more success despite the early SB’s.

I’m not sure I’d argue EVERY season but otherwise I’d agree.

I say plenty about Jerry, I just don't let it bother me....and you stooping to calling me a boot licker behind a keyboard, tells me the kind of woman you are. Go scream at your blow up doll and stick the pump up your blow hole, while you bend over and lick your own boots. Lol
Anytime fellow fans stoop to personal insults or attacks is basically admitting defeat that the argument is lost with only action left attempting to personally discredit.

I don't really know what a "REAL" fan is. There are different levels and types of fans for every team. Dedicated, low standard, high standard, casual, people that dress in barrel's and Cowboy/Indian uniforms. I don't really think there is a right way but I will say that fans of the teams you spoke of that did expect to win, go to the championship or Super bowl are dead now. It has been so long for some of them.

Their latest fans are just used to getting happy with winning "Regular season" games, sometimes.

The fact of the matter is that most of us who gripe about not having playoff success now are ones that saw it literally ALL THE TIME when we were younger. It was more of a shock to not get to the NFC championship game. Now, younger people are out of their minds happy winning 9 or 10 games. Getting bounced from the playoffs is like "mehh, oh well it was a great year".
Yep... but that was pretty salary cap. We just have to accept that the days of 20 straight winning seasons ARE OVER. Just like 65 cents per gallon gas.

I only attack when attacked. I asked a serious question and she comes at me with the boot licker crap. Sorry, that's me. I don't turn the other cheek to idiots

We are finally going into a season where there is reason to believe we have a chance of winning it all. The pieces are now in place to pull it off. For all the years Jerry has held us back, you can finally give him a smidge of credit for what he did this offseason. It started with the trade of Parsons that put us a position to completely revamp the defense. Not just revamp - but improve exponentially at all levels. And despite what some morons continue to say here, we have an outstanding QB who likely plays the best season of his career. Offense will be dominant. Defense goes from being a complete liability to a strength. Of course, everyone knows that regardless of talent, certain things must go your way to win it all - but the fact is, we have a roster capable of pulling it off.

And again, in the big picture it's entertainment. Not life and death. It's meant to be fun. And for the first time in a long time, you have a team you can be proud of and have fun supporting.
Been burned way too many times
Not getting near that cheese
Show me some post season success,
Then you can get my interest

Im the same way. I do not asking personal insults...at least I hope i don't. But asking em my way, and ill step up to the plate. IM A MARINE....IMA MAN.LOL

So do you not show any interest until AFTER they finally win it all? If so, you missed out on the journey, and i pitty you.
Totally agree. But you dont have to be overly optimistic or a raw raw fan to be totally interested and engulfed .

I’ve been very very critical this era but I’m on the edge of my seat almost every week and still haven’t missed a game for over 60 years .

My screen name is very indicative of how I feel. I’m a Diehard fan with the blues .

Unless you have Belichick and Brady. They had 19 years. But that isn’t the normal , neither were the Cowboys back then. And why that record still stands.

That said I think we could argue this era hasn’t been as successful as many other franchises this era and who we should be comparing ourselves to.

We can wear two hats bringing critical thinking and support for the team.
