I know, I know, it's been said here numerous of times but I'm miserable today. I cannot believe the Cowboys aren't playing today. You know, you go through so much from July-on, waiting on training camp news everyday, doing everything you can to catch a meaningless pre-season game, etc. Some of us travel far and wide to see our team and it just ends as quick as it begins.

I don't know what to think as far as next year. I'm still hungover mentally from last Sunday...

Thanks for letting me vent!

Up here in Green Bay, I feel like I'm the only one not excited today......truth is.....I'm bitter. I have avoided all sports related talk shows and tv shows all week. Go Pack GO...........sigh:(

Oh, I too, dealt with 'The Catch'...will NEVER forget that...

Yeah I just don't seem to even care about the football anymore and it sucks cause this is SUPPOSED to be the best part of the season.

I really don't care to watch these games and I'm the idiot who has 3 TVs and Sunday Ticket and really can't get enough of football.

I hate sports.

You know it's funny...I just came on to start the very same thread...I was talking to my fiancee and telling her how today has this hollowness about it....it's like it really hit home today....she told me to snap out of it and go get some groceries...oh well...there is always next year...but today does kind of hurt.

I couldn't care less about watching anymore football this year. I have lost a lot of faith in the integrity of NFL this year, from Spygate to the hypocrisy of the commissioner, to continuously horrid and blatantly deviant officiating, it will be irrelevant to me for a while. Of course, it won't hurt it one bit, but that's beside the point.

I feel the same way. No way am I watching the GB/Giant game. I fully expect the Packers to win at home and it sticks in my crawl how much love will be joined to Favre today and throughout the whole SB situation when I know in my heart my Cowboys with their "A" game would have beaten the Giants and then the Packers. Frankly I've felt for some time that the only team who could beat the Pats were the Cowboys. Anyway, I don't care anymore about rest of this season.

But gotta admit I'm just as up for any Cowboy info as I can get my hands on. I don't accept Aikman's comments that the Cowboys will be hurt by our loss against the Giants and could get set back. I believe Jerry Jones is a fighter and so is Romo and many others on this team. I really believe everyone will come back more focused and determined then ever, particularly Romo. I really believe in him, his competitiveness and desired to win. He'll have plenty of time to rethink about this season and that loss and a better Romo (God help the rest of the NFL) will emerge with more maturity and focus along with an understanding that everything he does during the team affects his team and act accordingly.

at least shannon sharpe said he thought that 2 of the best teams were not playing today...cowboys and colts :) ....

Today totally sucks. Feels empty. We should be playing.

Ironically, if the Packers lose today, I'll feel SOME satisfaction. SOME, not alot.

Me too. :)

i agree, i am not watching football this weekend and am not watching the super bowl, just too much hurt. i plan to start again with the combine and draft.

Surprised how many of you feel the way I do.

I am not watching today and will not watch the SB.

For me its always been a simple formula.

At best I'll skip viewing the next step I felt we could've or should've taken.

Skipped the 1981,82,83 and 95 Superbowls.

Skipped the divisional and championship rounds last year. Watched the SB.

And of course I'm done this year.

Its part bitterness part depression.

We should be gearing up for GB in Texas Stadium tonight.
That's what was supposed to happen. It was meant to be.

Tonights NFC Championship matchup is a fluke, an abberation.

This Cowboys team was destine to face an unbeaten Pats team in the SB.

We can win next years SB, hell we can win the next three SB's.
I'll never get over this year, just like I never got over 1981!:bang2: :bang2: :bang2:

I just dealt a World Poker Tour Ladies event today at the Borgata in AC.

I met 100 women in 5 hours.

It kind of makes up for the Pats winning :p
