Today was embarrassing

I’m a Dak guy. Tonight there wasn’t a lot to like. He has to better no excuses. When you make the $ he does and have the cap hit he does he needs to be able to carry us and he hasn’t done that.


We have to look at it realistically though. Can you win with him? Yeah. Is 40 million the going rate for a franchise QB? Yeah. He isn’t a top 5 QB but he is a top 8-13 QB depending on week. He is capable of lighting it up and he is capable of laying a stinker.


Saying that, he is honestly the least of my concerns right now. This is a systemic issue with this organization from the top down. We are soft. There is a rot at the core that infects everyone wearing the star.


We have to change our identity. No more glitz and glamor. No more high flying passing attack that is anything but high flying. Dak doesn’t need to be the focal point of our offense. We need to purge our WRs. We need to focus on OL and running game and build our team around Micah and the defense. We need to change our identity to a tough, defensive minded, ball control, power run game, gritty team that can play action with Dak when we need to.


Tonight was embarrassing. We need this to hurt. We need to take a long hard look in the mirror and figure it the f**k out.
