The NFL is a watered down 8-8 league. No dominant teams anymore. Everybody is a few plays from being 10-6 or 6-10. Main things now to being a playoff team is QB and coaching.

Saints are unbeatable.

Not with that defense they're not. They might have a new DC, but they still are pretty damn weak in that department.

I'm so tired of these arguments, true or not.

just tells me that as usual, the media and some fans VASTLY overrated some teams.

Pitt could go 14-2 with their schedule. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Giants at 12-4 or 13-3. I think those two teams are clearly the frontrunners for now. Tonight may change that.

It's still early yet, but I imagine that you will have a 13 win team somewhere.....as far as a "traditional" dominant team, you could be right.

I haven't looked at the Steelers schedule yet, but they did play and struggle against the Titans who lost again today, but are looking good against the depleted Bears today, so they will probably start off 2-0 today.

I hate Parity....especially when the Cowboys aren't one of the dominant teams.

We'll see after today if we are one of them....as I think today is a real test.

It always seems this way at the start of the season but the good teams usually separate themselves from the fray by the mid way point of the season. The main reason for this perception is that our prognosis often isn't right. The power houses we predict don't always turn out that way.

That the media's hype machine is effective and that early season power rankings are mostly worthless.

Today's results tell us that we still don't have a clue who the contenders actually are. Nobody knows until about week 12.

While I'm not ready to call them a contender, the Jets look darn good– especially on defense.

Totally agree. Check out what they did to the Texans last week and then the Pats this week. Both teams were greta on offense when they didn't play the Jets.

Yeah, in particular Revis has been really good. Compare what he was able to do to Andre Johnson with what Courtland Finnegan did.

Roy Williams helped the Bungles win today with a HUGE hit on the GB TE late in the game. Classic RW hit. If you didn't see it you missed a throwback.
