You can't stop Drew Brees. Sorry. You just can't.

Yes you can. If Tom Brady can be stopped, so can Drew Brees. You jump on players' bandwagons faster than anyone I've ever seen in my life. Seriously, man, do you have any integrity? Your opinions change so much my head spins.

Pitt could go 14-2 with their schedule. I wouldn't be surprised to see the Giants at 12-4 or 13-3. I think those two teams are clearly the frontrunners for now. Tonight may change that.

I'd like for you to tell me what about the Giants lends you to choose them over any of the other teams in the NFC:

Atlanta
Dallas
Philadelphia
New Orleans
Minnesota
dare I say...San Francisco?

thats what the nfl draft is for, for nfl teams to catch up with other teams and now with free agency on salary cap, its harder for the elite teams to stay on top;

but dont overlook, every year a team makes a run by end of november, thats when you really want to get hot and build up momentum going into the playoffs like the steelers, eagles did last year;

I don't trust Dallas's defense. Philly will only be good so long as Westbrook and McNabb stay healthy which never happens. Minnesota has Favre starting at QB, nuff said. Atlanta and NO could absolutely win the NFC, but I still haven't seen enough from them. Essentially, I'm putting the Giants on top because I know who they are and they know who they are. They have a very strong defense, good running game, and Eli Manning, as much as I hate him makes good decisions and can keep the chains moving on 3rd downs when his line gives him time, which it usually does. It's just my best guess.

Edit: And we'll obviously know a lot more about Dallas and NYG after tonight.

I'm sure anyone who has been on here for a while has been witness to your rapid opinion changes on players, teams, draft picks, etc. I haven't chronicled every one of your posts.

What they tell us is not to make blanket statements about teams after Week 1. Something many on this board were doing this past week. Steelers: Lost. Bears bounce back. Denver is now 2-0. Texans, who lost to a rookie QB starting his first game on the road, upset the Titans who are now 0-2. The Vikings looked utterly pedestrian today and everyone's darling GB looked abysmal today losing to the Bungles at home, just getting shredded by Cedric Benson on the ground. Oh, did I mention the Bungles won at Lambeau? :D

Talon is definitely gripping right now. :laugh2: Mr. 60% of their offense (AKA Brian Westbrook) is also looking rather pedestrian this year. No worries Talon, The Vick experiment is about to begin. :muttley:

I forgot about Vick!

Ok...sorry PT, and citizens.

The eagles win the SuperBowl this year.

And a pig flew.

A dog barked.
