Personally, this is shocking to me since they gave Jarwin a fairly hefty extension and brought in Blake Bell.

Also odd since right now the candidates for RDE are Crawford, a player who has been out for 4 years, a player who has been out for a year and a 5th round rookie.

Bull offal !!
Jarwin is and will be a plus to our control game.

Jarwin got bum rushed when Garrett not only welcome back Witten into the starting lineup but instantly gave Witten practically all the snaps and reps
throughout the season. As many suspected when he returned from retirement - and many who did NOT buy into the rumors of shared reps and witten only taking
a small percentage of snaps for the sake of Jarwin. Turns out it was the far more athletic and speedier Jarwin that was handed a small percentage of snaps instead of Witten.

i still maintained that Witten being full fledged back into that lineup hurt that role in our offense. As it took away the speed element as well as Jarwin's
development.

- if dak had spotted a weak spot in the defenses and audible to a deep middle seam with the TE,...and with Witten in the lineup, then that becomes a non-developed play that Dak would have to abandon and go elsewhere because slooow azz witten just becomes stuck in mud and he simply cannot run under that long ranged pass and cover that much ground. So there's a huge big play or TD that is forced outta our hands.

If Garrett were still here ... then Witten would still be here.
