Now I'm reading from reporters on twitter (don't know how to link twitter) that Gurley will return next month to be evaluated by teams. Alsi reported that Dr. James Andrews recommended it wasn't a good idea to have teams twisting and prodding his knee 3 months post op and Gurley and his agent used that to determine not to do the evals. So again, not much to this in my eyes.

I have no clue why this is new news. This happens every single year. Players who have had injuries that are still healing go back for a 2nd check prior to the draft. Don't know the exact date.

Got it. Makes total sense when laid out like that. All it would take is one over zealous tweak from a prospective team's staff and it could be bad. Can't blame the kid: just too much at stake. He'll get checke out in late March or early April I would guess.

I think it's possible actually. Very possible.

You think all the way to the bottom of the second? I see absolutely no way.

If he does slide out of the first - and I don't think he will - teams will be lining up at the top of the second to draft the guy.

JMO, of course.
