Warner is awesome. He satys in the pocket long enough to allow his WR's to get open. Tony could learn from watching Warner.

Oh geeesshhh.. I still remember the " experts " in here slamming Chad Hutchinson because he " held the ball too long " and looked like a " statue ". Now Tony Romo should learn from Warner, who is a statue and one of the most turnover prone QBs in the league.

As if Romo doesn't turn over the ball enough himself.

And when TO pouted one week, they ended up beating the Giants. What is your point? the fact is, Boldin pouted and he is an all-star WR. I guess TO isn't the only one that does it.
Nope he isn't. He's the only one who takes it to extremes.

I'll actually give it to Haley, though he almost blew the game in the third and 4th quarter, with some pathetic play-calling. He actually got one-on-one match-ups against Fitzgerald and attacked the blitzing of the Eagles, by throwing where the blitz was coming from. They also ran the ball to keep the Eagles in check. That call where Warner over-threw Boldin was a great example of how they attacked the blitz. The flea-flicker where they passed to the right, taking adavantage of the aggressiveness of Jim Johnson was tight.

It is sad when Haley is better at planning than Garrett...

This game was an example of what good scheming actually does... Garrett makes me sick, when I watch teams like Arizon run off points against teams like the Eagles...

Yup you could........... But that makes you well..........not smart.:)
I'm smart enough to see over rated players who can't win the big one, who completes more passes to DBs in big games, so you can throw stones, I can throw some too. :)

At least, I saw imagination in the play calling for the Cards. I saw misdirection that worked, several times. I saw passes on short yardage plays, that threw the eagle off. I saw a pocket for the QB to actually throw from. I saw receivers that ran good routes. I saw a team that could pick up most blitzes. I saw an offense that had time to execute. Receivers, that actually could get open.
I haven't seen this kind of play from the Cowboys since Jimmy Johnson days. Why not?

Yeah that winning drive sucked.

That winning drive was actually called by Wisenhunt. He pulled a Wade on Stewart stunt because of the previous 3 drives' disaster.

I can also see players who will come about. Get rid of some surrounding cast,
get an OC who can actually call plays. Get Romo that and healthy you will be eating some crow.

Now I have to go eat some Prime Rib. Taker her easy.

Did he? if he did, that was a masterful job. But i don't think that was the case, because of the Boldin and Haley spat. Boldin was obviously arguing that he needed to be on the field. If it was Ken doing the calling, then why would Boldin be fighting with Haley?

Exactly... It had nothing to do with Warner staying in the pocket, unlike Romo. This game was a good example of nice scheming. Plenty of mis-direction set up big-plays for the Cardinals.

You could see Wisenhunt calling the plays on that drive when the camera zoomed to him.

I'm guessing that Bolding was whinning about not getting the ball and Haley just had enough of it and let him know it. If you could see the replay, Bolding must have said something to the effect of " I'm going to whip your *** " because Haley was saying " go ahead, go ahead and try it ", and that's when Calais Campbell got in the middle. Haley, then, shifted his focus back to the field.

So what happened to the scheming on the previous 3 drives that didn't even produced a 1st down ?

Honestly, nothing's wrong with *****ing. This is football, people are going to throw tantrums, get upset, do all types of things on the sideline and in the locker room. It's okay, I promise you. This happens all across America in every locker room in America, no big deal. Honestly.

I already said it... Todd Haley almost blew them the game. Look, I don't think Haley is a good coach, nor am I defending him. I'm just saying that the scheming had everything to do with the Cardinals out-performing the Eagles defense.

I think it sucks that even Haley showed that he was a much better OC than Garrett, and he isn't even that good. It makes me mad as hell that Haley, who has as much talent as Garrett, maybe less, got more out of his team than garrett.

BTW, the first drive in the second-half, warner missed a WO Boldin that should have been a TD.

You're preaching to the choir and unlike alot of the youngens in here, I watched the '90's teams with Michael raving up and down the sidelines.

I like it when a coach stands up to whinners but I also like it when whinners, who deserve it because of their accomplisment, scream about not getting involved.

It's all part of the game.

I dont think that is true. His contract was up and parcells retired and he had a chance to get a coordinator job with a new staff in arizona.

What is true is that Haley has a backbone and doesnt give a darn if the owner declares a guy off limits. Owens like all bullies didnt like be called out when he tried to play his I am above authority game with haley and then tried to turn everyone on haley.

That is why owens was such a whiny pipsqueak in 06, there were people here putting his behind in place.

To be completely fair, Haley has been accused of being a hot head by persons who don't normally say such things. OTOH, I'm always going to be on the coaches' side when players confront them publically. Coaches get to yell at players not the other way around.
