Vastly inferior Eagles franchise? The fumble that cost his team the game against a vastly inferior Philadelphia Eagles franchise....could it lead to retirement? Could it lead to a sharp decline in his performance next season?

That baby looks just like Tom Brady.
No, not "both." Eli is the mommy. Nick is the daddy.Nick and Eli are both his Mommy and Daddy . NFCE Pride
Based on the way he played all season - no.The fumble that cost his team the game against a vastly inferior Philadelphia Eagles franchise....could it lead to retirement? Could it lead to a sharp decline in his performance next season?
Father Time is unbeaten in the end. Payton Manning at the end was really pathetic; a ten year old girl could have thrown better.Brady is 40. He's been slowly and steadily declining the last couple years. People don't notice because he's still winning. The lack of zip on those outs he was trying to throw toward the end of the game were a factor. One should have been picked.
Brady is a top 5 all time QB. His mind was like made for football. It is so good, it's hiding the decline from most fans, all but the most astute observers.
Offhand, I'd say yes, beyond a doubt, a sharp decline is right around the corner. As it is, he's getting by w/ his extreme saavy.

I wonder if Brady can bring himself to retire before he reaches that stage; BB would clearly boot him before then but now Kraft has started to interfere so who knows?
For some odd reason, people have this idea that players can play forever. For QB's, 36-40 is the end. Brady is now at the far end of that spectrum. I don't care what he eats or how many workouts he does, the body starts giving way.Father Time is unbeaten in the end. Is your real-life name Max Kellerman?
LOL!! People have been saying "a sharp decline is right around the corner" and complaining about the "zip" on his passes regarding Tom Brady for 5 years now. Meanwhile, he just won MVP, has 3 consecutive years of 100+ QB ratings and in the past 4 years has 3 conference championships and 2 Super Bowl Championships.Brady is 40.
