Tom Brady is just amazing. Granted the tuck rule/luck saved his rear end for 1 ring, but the other two rings had no luck involved. Has he already surpassed Aikman and Staubach in reputation? Is he even better than Montana? Is there any Qb you would rather have than Tom Brady? Has there ever been a more accurate QB ever? He just may be the all time best.

He is just a tad behind Montana and Elway in my book, but closing the gap as the years go by.

Not even close. Montana, Elway, Staubach, and even Aikman are NFL legends.

Brady? Not yet.

Brady never had the OL Aikman had. Brady never had the RB Aikman had. Is Brady that good? Gotta call it like it is. Gotta give Brady credit.

I like Tom Brady...but no one will ever pass Roger Staubach in my book...the guy was amazing in a time where they could mug a WR...

Staubach could run, had the intangibles, could pass with accuracy, leadership, a strong desire to win.. the guy was the total package...I often wonder what the Cowboys would have looked like had he been allowed to call his own plays

I'm a Cowboys fan because of Staubach.

Roger missed 4-5 years because of his Naval obligation and retired early from concussions...Playing real well when he retired too.

Of all of the great things he did, just think if Roger had an extra 4-5 back that he gave to our armed forces.

Brady has an Oline with 3 pro bowlers on it. Cory Dillion is no chopped liver either.

The first two years Brady was in the Superbowl his workhorse RB was Antowain Smith not Dillon.

I am not sure of the three pro bowl offensive lineman you refer to either. Maybe they made it this year, but I dont think so.

I looked up his first two Superbowls and he did not have any pro bowl lineman according to profootball-reference.com

I think Brady is every bit as good as Aikman. I think if Brady retired today, he's already a Hall of Famer in my book. If NE can win another Super Bowl with him as QB, then you can mention him in the same breath as Montana.

The only Pro Bowlers Brady has played with were Dillion last year and Troy Brown who made it the first year Brady started when he took over for an injured Bledsoe.

I am with you. Brady as of right now today, should be mentioned with the Aikman and Elways of the world.

Win another one and forget it he moves to head of the class with Montana.

There is no QB I would rather have, right now, more then Brady. There is no QB I would rather have, EVER, then Roger Staubach.

Hope that clear it up.

Thats totally false about Brady. He is not that great at accuracy. At least not all the time. But he is accurate come Money time, i.e. Playoffs. Having watched Brady and Henson in college, trust me, Henson was more accurate than Brady and Henson is no Aikman in Accuracy either, in college that is.

I am not sure if he is better than Montana, but I am not going to say he is better than Aikman either. Brady and Aikman probably are eqivalent, with Montana Better. I haven't watched Staubach, but I think he played in Different era.

But I would say, I would have Brady over anyone in NFL today. Maybe in time Carson Palmer may take it over, because if anyone, Carson Palmer reminds me bit of Aikman, both on how he carries himself, demeanor on the field and his accuracy. But he hasn't won anything in Playoffs.

Brady is unbelievable - best in the business, best in the last 20 years, questionably the best ever (I take him over Aikman, Young, Montana, Farve, Manning or Elway any day of the week). I still would never trade Roger for Brady. Roger was Roger. Captain America. But that is just my heart talking.

Tom Brady never played against the competition of the early 90's either. Tom Brady doesn't equal Troy Aikman.

Well, I think you say that now because it is hard to call a guy a legend while he is still in his 20s and still playing.

I really do think what...20-30 years from now, people will mention Brady in the same breathe as the guys you mentioned.

I like the guy and one day I will be able to tell my kids and Grandkids that I saw the guy play, even though he isnt a Dallas Cowboys.

I take him over any QB playing today. Not the best arm, not the best Physical tools, but just has that old Ice Water in his veins and is just a pure winner.

Living Legend as far as I am concerned :) .

When Brady leads his team 90 yards for a winning TD then he might be. A guy who got by on the tuck rule and won all his SB's by a FG is not in that elite company.

Is he a good QB. Probably top 10 of all time in terms of being a winner, yes. Montana had 4 rings, and in my oppinion is the greatest QB of all time.

Brady doesn't have Jerry Rice.

Comfortable with Brady as our QB. Tough, keeps playing. Smart, reads defenses. Learning - always learning. Cool, what you think I'm nervous because it is the SB. Gee, can you get any luckier???????????

I will take it.
