wasn't he the offensive line coach for the Raiders at one point? maybe he would be a person to look at for the offensive line

What... they were actually respectable this season for the first time in forever. I think he'll find another job relatively quickly.

Surprising with the year they had. Winston Moss will be a top candidate being a
former Raider.

He could be Jerry's "muscle" to keep the other coaches in-line.

:D

Wow, Al Davis. Just when the Raiders finally make some progress, you can the HC.

No way Gruden goes back there. He already did that once.

Tom Cable punched one of his assistant coaches.........yea, I want his toughness coaching the o-line.

just incase anyone's confused, I'm not being sarcastic

The last thing we need is Tom Cable punching out Garrett.

What a rediculous dysfunctional joke organization Raiders are. I guess there will be somone taking the job, since there are only 32 jobs in NFL.

I do agree, Tom Cable might be a real good OL hire if so, well if Garrett wants him.

Two ex wives and a former girlfriend have also accused him of domestic battery. Sounds like a great guy.

And FWIW, the Raiders are firing Cable so they can move their OC, Hue Jackson, up to HC before someone else offered him a HC job. He had much more to do with the Raiders improvement than Cable did, he's younger and he was already getting interviews for the San Francisco job. Plus he doesn't seem to have a problem with punching people.

Supposedly their OC will be the new HC. Raiders moved faster to let Cable go when the Niners requested permission to speak to the Raider OC about their HC position.

No thanks to Cable.. there's a difference between passion for the game and just being a complete idiot.

Oakland ran a zone blocking scheme so I doubt it.

Just when Cowboy Jones was about to make the top of the foolish NFL headlines, oh boy Al steps in and saves him!

:lmao2:
