I liked Cloverfield for what it was. It wasn't a movie with a plot. It was a SciFi action film for people who love special effects. It was basically a Gozilla like version of Blair Witch Project.

Anyhow, I thought the new Star Trek was a great movie by him.

I agree Cloverfield was crap but I do enjoy Lost and Fringe
