Did you actually watch the fights? I did. It was not pretty and he essentially fought a bunch of bums.

No never saw them. I was 8, didn't start watching football until 80/81, so I never saw boxing until well after that. First match I remember watching was in the Olympics in 88. Never got into boxing, kind of senseless to me.

Yeah I read that he fought mainly nobodies and one Mexican champ, but he was undefeated. By saying it wasn't pretty you implied he got destroyed. No need to get defensive.

I have a few friends that boxed and some now (younger) in MMA, some aren't very good and don't win a whole hell of a lot... I don't call them bums though cause they can still kick my azz. When it comes down to it they may not be the best but what is the average man that doesn't get in the ring considered if these warriors are considered bums. Just good for thought bro... On the other side yes the people he fought were not very good. =-)

The people he fought were terrible. To suggest Too Tall was a good boxer based on his record is misleading.

I'm not getting defensive I'm just stating he was not a good boxer.
