I have set up an online petition to try and get Jerry Jones to Consider naming the new stadium Tom Landry Stadium.

We have over 9,000 users here.

I would like to keep it active til Thanksgiving and I will then FedEx the petition to him. PLease read the petition and sign it.

Landry desrves this honor just as Curly Lambeau did for the Packers and Paul Brown for the Bengals.

Together, Cowboy Nation can get it done.

Still, it's going to be hard for Jones to ignore the millions that he can gain from corporate naming rights. What I've hoped for is some kind of compromise with a corporate sponsor. For example: Tom Landry Microsoft Stadium. I know. I know. It's a bad example, but it's a thought.

Nice try but money talks and emotions, well put them in one hand and cash in the other and see what hand fills up first. Jerry stands to make 500 to maybe a billion dollars off the name. I love Tom and all, but even i'm not dumb enough to turn that kinda cash down. Arlington is putting in what, 325 million? Add the naming rights cash and Jerry gets the place paid for FREE. I"M Certainly not a rich get richer guy as a middle class single parent, but it's just too sweet to turn down. My memories of Tom stand, i don't need a stadium named after him to remember.
