Italics means that someone from the previous rung is definitely going to be bumped up. Of which I count at least 9, so I shifted the line.

Given the run on linemen I think Queensberry is a possibility in the 3rd.

Our 2nd round choices
Damontre Moore* DE/OLB Texas A&M 6-4 250
Cornellius Carradine DE Florida State 6-4 276
Eddie Lacy* RB Alabama 5-11 231
Terron Armstead OT Arkansas-Pine Bluff 6-5 306
Jonathan Cyprien FS Florida International 6-0 217

I'd say that we don't have any likely options in the 2nd round. We have the 17th pick, and I would say we have 5 potential targets. There is a run on tackles, and a run on safeties. We have to hope that a run on running backs wide receivers, and quarterbacks really helps us.

If we could get Cyprien in the 2nd round, I think a lot of people would be happy with that.

Our third round options
Justin Hunter* WR Tennessee 6-4 196
Joseph Randle RB Oklahoma State 6-0 204
Giovani Bernard* RB North Carolina 5-8 202
Margus Hunt DE Southern Methodist 6-8 277
Alex Okafor DE Texas 6-5 264
Marcus Lattimore* RB South Carolina 5-11 221
Phillip Thomas FS Fresno State 6-0 208
Le'Veon Bell RB Michigan State 6-1 230
Markus Wheaton WR Oregon State 5-11 189
Ryan Swope WR Texas A&M 6-0 205
Johnathan Franklin RB UCLA 5-10 205
Sean Porter OLB Texas A&M 6-1 229
Sio Moore OLB Connecticut 6-1 245
Dion Sims* TE Michigan State 6-5 262

Remember we have two picks here. Assuming we have drafted Cyprien in the second, we have a lot of free reign here. Otherwise we have to draft Thomas if he is still available. If we got Cyprien we should be able to come out of the rest of this with a really good running back and wide receiver. Or if we're REALLY lucky maybe one of those defensive ends are still there, instead of the wide receiver.

Jonathan Cyprien FS Florida International 6-0 217 is a good pick but I still feel that a OL, DT, and TE should be our targets if available. This would bring the OL up to run behind and we really, really need the three technique DT to push the OL back, put pressure on the QB, and bring down the running back in the back field. Then a one technique DT that can be interchangeable with the three technique DT. The RB, DE, OLB and WR can be picked up in the undrafted FA.:)

Armstead is really are last chance at getting an offensive tackle. From what I can gather even if we get Queensberry at some point, he would likely play guard, rather than tackle. I don't think the chances are great that we get Armstead.

I think you're confused when it comes to a Tampa 2 and defensive tackles. Kiffin wants two 3 technique guys. And for better or worse, we already have them. There aren't any 3 technique guys early in the draft worth going after. Free Safety is certainly more important than 3rd string tight end.

Either Cyprien in the second or Thomas in the third.

Ryan Nassib will be available at our pick.

Do we pull the trigger?

Bills panicked. They could have gotten either Manual or Nassib in the 2nd round.

Ya really right, they could have grabbed Austin and the Qb of their choice

8,000 posts and you ask this? First just because they are slated at our pick doesn't mean they will be there at our pick.

The reality is that we're not drafting a quarterback high. We have positions of need to fill on this team.

Stedman bailey in the 3rd would be great value.

3rd or 4th, definitely would be an interesting pick up. Putting him in the slot could really help him.

Well, most of those 8000 posts aren't of the intelligent kind. Most of it just bashing Jerry Jones. :)

I know QB isn't in our target ... but there are going to be a few reasonable ones available in the 2nd, and Tony Romo ain't gonna be around forever. We need to groom someone soon.

Nassib may be gotten early in the 3rd round ... or even later in this whacky draft.
