Tonight made it crystal clear

This has always been about loyalty, friendship, nostalgia with Garrett.

Listening to Jerry wax on about “wanting” Garrett to win, talking about redemption, etc. just proved Jerry has let emotion and other factors color his view of the job his head coach has done instead of just looking at this strictly as a work relationship and a review of the performance of the coach.

This is nothing but Jerry protecting his friend to the bitter end.

"taste the rainbow" doesn't sound so appetizing all of a sudden. : (

It's still far more pleasant than claiming Bozo the Garrett is taking this team anywhere near a Super Bowl............Unless he's buying the entire team tickets to the game......................

Absolutely crazy that this is coming from a purported businessman.

How the hell did this guy make so much money. He is completely blinded.
Reminds me of a movie when a cops kid gets kidnapped but he gets taken off the case cause he will be too emotional.

Thats Jerry - basically a fan boy who sees everything thru rose colored glasses.

His delusional comments tonight proved that. Garrett isn't bad. He's just about to go on a miraculous, storybook 8 game win streak

Yep, he confirmed that he cares more about the "family atmosphere" and his personal relationships than winning.

That means winning is really his third priority after that and money.
This is the fact. Jerry cares about winning, just not more then money and his extended family. He owns the team, do that his prerogative.

Jerry only wants to win his way and that is proving that he was right about Garrett all along and that sticking by Garrett all of this time was the correct choice. His ego and pride doesn't want to let Garrett go.

Jerry’s habit of forcing his face in front of every camera and talking and talking and talking....is poison for this team. It does nothing for this team but provide embarrassing moments while undermining his coaches.

You (Jerry) weren't glamourous hogging the spotlight to begin with, but now that you're approaching 80; it reallly shows.

It’s never been about winning.

Jerry’s ego is #1 above all else when it comes to the Dallas Cowboys and Jason Garrett is a big part of that ego.

Someone in the chat said they wished Garrett threw 4 picks and lost on Thanksgiving...I feel the exact same way...

Not his friend. One of the only guys that will let him run the team for this long and stand there on the sidelines and clap. He just had no control. This team has no discipline. Can’t get themselves up for a full game. Players are done and it’s coming out. JJ is realizing it. Likely why he is coming out of a locker room with tears. It’s booze and reality.

i wish there was some one in the cowboys organization that could check jerry and call him out on his non sense and maybe make him see reality sometimes. i hoped it was stephen after there was talk a couple years ago that he was kind of taking over a little, but i guess not.

Maybe Jerrah is scared of Garrett. That's the only explanation I have.

Eagles fans love Jerrah and Garrett right now

I said that today! Probably the worst thing that's happened to the current Cowboys was Garrett to Harper all those years ago.
