Tony's 60 yrs old according to that article.

Wow, makes me feel old. What a great year 1977 was. My Cowboys had the Offensive Rookie of the Year with Tony & my Orioles had the AL ROY with Eddie Murray.

Really feel bad for Tony.....as small as he was, he was a tough inside off tackle runner who could take it to the house. Never forget his 99 1/2 yard run against the Vikings on Monday night. Also the last time the Cowboys ran great screen plays was with Tony and Roger. Hope he gets the much needed medical help he needs and deserves. .

Although teams do not retire numbers; I cannot imagine any Cowboy wearing #33 again, or even #12, #74 and #22. Those are legendary and implanted in our brains.

Man... I love TD... It was great seeing him on TV this year... he looked like he's handling it well....
I pray for the man that it never gets to the extreme stage, and that he can live a productive life for as long as he lives.

I loved it when Tony used his speed left or right. I hated it when old man Landry would run him up the middle as if he were a Calvin Hill. good luck Tony.

This doesn't only happen to football players. It's actually pretty common. But that won't fit the narrative.

Enjoy football, folks. It won't be around a whole lot longer. The buzzards are circling.

"Old man Landry?"

Show some respect!

I cannot forget OML telling an interviewer the first time Jimma and the Cowboys were going to the Super Bowl that he (Landry) "would be too busy" to see the game. before that, Landry's cross-state chase that made Jerra fire him on a golf course, also left a bitter taste in meine mouth. Landry had his heyday.
Unnecessary deifying him works well with the rest of the mens here, but it do not go far with me.

Tony Dorsett was the reason why I became a Cowboy fan. He had the sweetest spin move, and his acceleration was second to none. Watching him in the screen game was a thing of beauty.

Hearing this makes me very sad. I hope that he is in a position where they can find a way to stem the tide of CTE.
