RonnieT24......are we saying Zeke doesn't fit in KMoore's offensive schemes?

I've been saying it for three years.. Zeke is not a shotgun handoff back. Nor is he a back who is going to thrive on 12-13 carries.. It's just not who he is.. No workhorse back thrives under those conditions. You watch the other workhorse backs they get the ball in the deep set upwards of 90% of the time and they get closer to 20 carries a game than they do 10 carries a game. Line Zeke up in the deep set and hand him the ball going downhill 20 times a game and you have a 100 yards a game back. In this mess? Who the hell knows what you get..

Yeah Pollard definitely has some wheels. I know most fans are down on Zeke, and I get it, he definitely doesn't have the speed and crispness he once had, but he still plays a role in this offense. He definitely can be more of a bruiser. His TD run last night was a good example of powering it in.

Not just a balance as in numbers....but calling the right plays matter too.

Yeah it's never about just number of passes vs number of runs.. It's about running the right play at the right time.. Any time we get in the red zone and break the huddle in empty backfield.. I know we are NOT about to run the right play at the right time. Even the TD to Lamb was a stupid call. You have a chance to beat on that d-line some more and take a little more of their manhood.. Instead you let 'em off the hook for a low percentage throw.. Why? Because Moore had Rush and Lamb in his fantasy league? That call made no sense from 18 inches away from paydirt.

I think a balanced approach with Tony and Zeke could be a great combination going forward.
Should have been done 4 years ago. These 2 RBs are a blessing and we been sitting here arguing who should get more carries and starts?

And these people consider themselves experts and calling everyone else idiots.

We need BOTH...and adeptly managed.

well he damn sure should have called a Zeke up the middle on 4th and 1 to eat up more time. Instead he calls a pas play Moore infuriates me sometimes with his failed trickery and timing of calls. But hey we won

I'm still scratching my head over this one.

KM has done great using these two the last few weeks. Pollard use the first week was atrocious.

I was at the game and everyone sitting around the area Cowboys or Giants fan was saying Pollard > Zeke. Didn't even hear one person argue for Zeke

However those two when used correctly probably top 3 duo. No reason the Cowboys shouldn't run through most teams

You are spot on.....I've been witnessing Zeke just doesn't fit into KMoore's scheme and takes the heat for it's failings. Pollard is not used enough, as well. The 3rd & 1 late (pass attempt) and 1st & goal at the one (pass attempt but TD), showed me how much KMoore regards Zeke......and it's been routine.

I can’t wait for Prescott to be back under center, I hope they call the same game plan. He put up 31 every game

I'd rather just keep throwing up W's.

The current formula works.

It's not about individual stats, it's about team success.

I absolutely agree. This team has especially mismanaged Elliot.

And to think, he was once a teammate of Zeke.
,,,,and while this Board villifies Zeke, he still yields complimentary statements about KMoore to the press......shows Zeke has matured.......what a teammate and consumate pro.....but he will not be hailed as a leader on this team......like some others from the past.
