Tony Pollard and Deuce Vaughn are going to be nightmares to handle for opposing Defenses

"Get your popcorn ready." -- Terrell Owens

Can't wait!!!

No popcorn needed. This is one of the most balanced backfield we've had in a long time.... with the physical Jones and Deuce with his dancing feet. Indeed the LG approach (or lack of in the draft) and Schoon drafting (or at least a TE that can run-block) shows we're got a gameplan.

2 cherry-picked plays with Vaughn ain't film. Go watch more from the game.
I did watch during the season since I'm a Longhorns fan. You're right to say Deuce won those battles most of the time, but you're absolutely wrong to say Overshown couldn't tackle Deuce on runs or stick with him in coverage. The video proved you wrong.

The video proved you wrong.

I'll be patient with you to catch up. Instead of two plays how about a quick ten. When you see the Zer0 on the uniform...the results in stopping Vaughn are the same. Null and void. Overshown = no show.

12 YARDS PER TOUCH. Right through the middle of the Longhorns offense, where Zero played.

Admit you are wrong with what you said. The film shows Overshown tackling Deuce at the line of scrimmage during a run play . It also shows Overshown zoom over during zone coverage and tackle Deuce immediately.

But when it’s 3rd and short or close at the goal line, which RB is grinding out that tough one yard against Phillys, Wash, or NYGs beefy DL?

When did 1-yard carries get so difficult? It's a matter of opening a window and hitting it fast. If you just want bulk use a FB or even a lineman. Alternatively run a sneak.

2/3 of NFL teams don't bother to carry a big bruising RB on their game-time roster.

Chris Vaughn, Deuce's dad, talks about the best phone call he's ever made...and explains what is his son's super power and how it's going to parlay on to the field for the Dallas Cowboys.

Well he clearly states who runs the draft of there was any doubt even he goes out if his way to say "The Jonses and Will McClay"

I'll admit you are overwrought and overworked about Overshown's no-show in the K-State game.

I'm no Longhorns fan nor Kansas State fan. Just calling it.

How is that possible? 12 yards for every touch. What a schooling!

I love his north/south style of running. He also prepares well when about to be hit. His low center of gravity and short area cuts are going to make many teams regret not taking him. A little more top end speed would be nice, but those short legs seem to be moving about as fast as they can.
