They did the right thing letting Zeke walk and franchising Pollard. The one mistake I do think they made was not drafting a RB in one of the middle rounds to possibly take over next year. Now they’re gonna be looking at having to take a RB in one of the early rounds unless Pollard signs a super cheap deal.

This OL coach and his run run design scheme is horrid, imo.
An all purpose back like Pollard is built for a stretch scheme, not a bell cow pound scheme.

Did you see some of the stretch zone run scheme that Eagles run with RB Swift . sweep him off tackle, misdirection .vs what we keep trying to do with Pollard ?

And some are just focused on rushing the ball, but we don't even see the RB screens
and RB in the pass game that we expected to see. just mere dump offs.
We don't scheme him for splash plays - just modest bell cow duty.

We were excited and expecting to see Deuce in the reg season - Nope ! he's gonna be a
healthy inactive game scratch remaining of this season.
Why ? ... this coaching staff dunno how to use-scheme for him.

The offense as a whole is just very vanilla. The play calling has no imagination whatsoever. It’s a fairly old school offense and not in any type of good way.

Nah they shouldnt have even franchise him.

$10.1m for a change of pace back aint it.

Shouldve signed a free agent or drafted someone earlier. Eagles got swift for a 5th

Can’t look at Philly for a trade comparison. For some reason they’re a handful of teams (Eagles, Rams, Niners, Steelers) that seem to get a considerable discount in trades vs what teams like Dallas have to pay.

Tony is not an RB. He's never been a RB. In college he was a slot guy with WR speed, electric in space with the potential to take it to the house every time he touched the rock. That IS NOT the way Dallas has used him. TP between the tackles is useless .. unless the OL is blowing big holes which isn't happening. Don't blame this kid. He was a walk-on at Memphis and worked his butt off to get where he is. He can still be the electric player he was but NOT being utilized like he is now.
