kind of agree , but is he worth 15 mil a year ? . more than 12 RBs in the same range of carries averaged the same or more . He is just not the same , not the same burst.
I have a hard time putting an exact dollar amount on what players are worth, but granted that is a lot of money. In the end hindsight is the only thing that will tell us if it was worth it.

No need for name calling .
Zeke is a solid Rb.But not a difference maker . His stats are fooling you . The rushing total is a result of having the highest number of rushing attempts after derick Henry . Actually zeke’s average yards per carry is lower than the leading RBs ; Nick chub , McCaffrey , Derrick Henry and many others . Is zeke worth 15+ million a year , 50 mil guaranteed ? , I don’t think so . He is better than Gurley however , who just go cut .
The stats are not fooling anyone. If you want to suggest he's paid too much that's your opinion. I don't get into what other adults get paid, there's too much we aren't involved with.
As far as his stats, he's been consistently at the top his entire career if you consider all of the stats, not just one or two that support your narrative. More carries the more watered down the averages are. There's nothing bad you can say for a RB that carries that kind of load.
Pollard isn't in the same balk park.

You can ignore it all you want but how much he is paid is very relevant as it takes away from much needed money for the defense . The stats can be analyzed but zeke has regressed each of the last 4 years .

Pollard did well last season . With zeke underperforming , and the resulting 8-8 record , you wonder if zeke’s cap hit and cost was worth it . Not sure zeke’s presence or absence would have made a difference.

Zeke under performed for 1357 yards and 12 TDs.

Nonsense. Pollard couldn't make one whole season with a fraction of the carries.

McCarthy was always inconsistent with getting RBs work, so I don't think that will improve under him. Sucks. Because we'll see Pollard disappear while we'll watch some nobody like Boston Scott in Philly become another Sproles.

you are a zeke blind supporter. It is easy to run against teams in the worst division . The team overall is 8-8 and 1-6 against good teams relying on your hero RB . He could not make a difference like Emmitt used to . Pollard needs his chance and he is much cheaper.

Ignorant assumption. Fans like you are so shallow, they don't even attempt to understand a different view. Or, you're a troll.
Here's my take. I wouldn't have drafted a RB 4th overall. But we did, so I support him as I do all Cowboys. I love Pollard but he's not on the same level. He's not an every down back. He's never played an entire season. You would think fans would appreciate having both.
If anyone honestly believes Pollard deserves snaps over Elliott they're dumb.

I think Dak is above average. I also think he's overrated by some and under rated by others. I, on the other hand, know exactly how good he is. That said, Zeke is a heck of a lot better than Pollard. Not even close.
Yet pollard ran better all year long.

Not sure what you are getting at. If RB's are slipping, which they typically do, then that means all teams have a better shot at getting one later in the draft. This is a well known fact. I'm not making something up here.

You can also get good RB's in FA every year. Like this year you could have gotten Gurley for 6 million per year and Melvin Gordon for 7 or 8 million per year.

And if you are team like the Cowboys and you have a great Oline, then you can get away with NOT having to get some all world back. Those holes will be there.
Gurley’s injuries makes him undesirable. Sure, you can sign Gordon for half the money, but you would be getting half the RB compared to Zeke.
