There hasn’t been a question for weeks now.
Some of us having been saying this for years.
There hasn’t been a question for weeks now.
The literal 3rd play in the breakdown is him getting off a block and making a tackle for no gain….
Pollard is by far the most productive, versatile, and dangerous player on the offense. He's not a typical running back. He is an absolute headache for other teams to deal with. Not at $12 mil a year.
We'll draft replacements for both Zeke and Tony in April. Some other GM will overpay for Pollard.
Both Mailk is going to eventually be one of those guys,,its apparent. so FT Pollard one year cut Zeke or make zeke take a deep pay cut to afford pollard and keep them both, if not yes draft another rb..Not at $12 mil a year.

Why is it sad? You know how many times know nothings have told us how wrong we are for years? Lies and myths created that have all been busted. Maybe man up and just admit we were all right and maybe some of us will shut up about it.You cowboy fans harping on this are no different than Skip Bayless. That's sad
Yes pollard is the number 1 now. But zeke is still important to this team. Zeke and pollard are a excellent combo of power run and playmaker
4 years it took these idiots to run a go route with pollard. LolWe finally had Pollard run a deep route and what do you know, it's a TD.
All TD's came from the RB's this game and the split was what I think most would want.
It’s almost like I called this 2 and a half seasons ago.
Really depends on the contract - $7 million maybe $8 for 3 - yes - anything higher or longer no way. I hope we learned the lesson about 2nd contracts to RBsPollard needs to be resigned.
Zeke had a good game today and set the tone early. Having 2 backs with well defined roles is good for the team.
No, too much Pollard for that. Need Zeke to have at least 50%. Why? Because we seen why, not having him for the GB game.
They used Pollard great yesterday in the passing game. What took them so long is on Moore. Myself and others been saying this for the past 2 years about getting Pollard in open space.
Moore even mentioned it but never done it until yesterday.
Yet, you are NOT you are stating opinions. The coaches see it differently and ill trust they will handle it the way that bets for the team. you might not be aware of this , you are not a coach, gm, ex NFL player or any kind of NFL expert because you post in a forum,. the coaches decide who gets what snaps and why and whose best suited to start or finish a game. whose named RB! is fan thing,, they are being utilized as equals and nether care who is labeled the starter.Just stating facts.
Tank's replacement is already on the team, #54, if it comes to that.
Kind of like Shultz replacement is already on the team.
Tank can’t be cut next year - the way the contract was reworked, we would have to eat $35 million. With Dak's 49 million cap hit, losing Zeke and Tank could be beneficial. Tank's salary could be used to keep both Fowler and Basham. Then we just draft SaRodorick Thompson from Texas Tech, in the 6th, to be our power back. So making Pollard RB1 next year could be a real thing.
At this point there is still a few bitter old crows that refuse to eat crow. It’s funny at this point.Saying there should be a 50-50 split for Pollard and Zeke clearly demonstrates that you don't know football.
Pollard was great against Green Bay. And Davis did a good job also. Having Zeke that game would've made no difference.
It's amazing we waited this long to find that out. He’s better used as a receiving back with about half the carries. His playmaking ability makes the whole passing game better. Getting him the ball in space makes him a better weapon than running him 25 times a game. That’s a waste of his talent

Production is the point...not in a number denoting when employed by role with traditional labels.Honestly there is no question anymore.
Those Zeke supporters have the same thinking as Jerry Jones. Let that sink in for a moment.
Tony Haullard
By cutting him we would have an automatic cap savings of about 9 million. but making him a June 1st cut means that 35 million will get split over 2 years. So is June 1st cap hit will be about 18 million for 2023, and 17 million for 2,024. So we could free up 26 million by making him a June 1st cut.Tank can’t be cut next year - the way the contract was reworked, we would have to eat $35 million.
