As awful as the running game has seemed at times, TP is only 65 yards short of 1,000 (935) and 10th out of all running backs. McCaffrey leads all backs by a wide margin with 1,459, but TP isn’t that far off from the rest of the top ten and could pass a few of them with one decent game. Derrick Henry, who many were begging the Cowboys to get before the trade deadline, has 1,014. However, Henry does have 11 TDs compared to TP’s 5.
Has his season truly been as bad as everyone thinks it was?
Repeat Henry does have 11 RUSHING TDS. Over and over again to yourself.

Then remember Elliott walked away with 12 rushing TDs given him away for free.

Speaking of Zeke, he’s currently #39, with 588 yards and 1 touchdown.
Yup Add that to what Tony Has and you have a running Game. We needed him this year , and we could have had him at a discount. So many were ready to move on from him.

It clearly hurt our team

1000 divided by 17 is only 58 yards per game. It's sorta embarrassing for any starting RB who gets the majority of carries to not have that yet.

Well, only 6 of 32 teams have a RB with 1000, so I guess there are 26 embarrassed teams.

He’s averaging less than 15 carries a game (14.6875). How is any RB supposed to get over 1,000 yards with such limited action? Zeke was regularly getting 1.5-2 times as many in his big years. Many times he wouldn’t have any success until the 3rd or 4th quarter. Now, we all but abandon the run by the 3rd or 4th quarter.

True but if you look at team stats 9 teams have over 2000 yards rushing and we're not one of them. So a lot teams have rbs sharing the load.

Pollard has missed some huge holes and a few missed scoring opportunities. The Oline haven't helped as they've been pitiful most of the season in run and quarterback protection.
