Thx for calling us realists instead of "haters". You're finally evolving. I personally don't put any thought into these lists. Some have Romo on them and some don't.

Your epiphany is precious. I should have added a sarcasm emoticon to avoid the obvious misunderstanding. Ironically, both happy fans and haters see themselves, to a certain degree, as realists. It's normally these extremists who "incessantly" defend themselves in attempt to be redefined as realists.

The true "evolution" is when the extremists are willing to acknowledge extremism, stop the redefinition attempts, and be comfortable with who they really are.

Yeah, you should really looking into extremism. I personally stay far away from that. All I speak is the truth even if it isn't what people want to hear. You know it is funny, I have seen many homers here on this site turn into realists but I haven't ever seen a realist turn into a homer....I wonder why that is? Either way, we are all fans and root for the same team, so as long as someone isn't personally attacking me, they are cool in my book.

If the Cowboys start winning some playoff games, maybe even win a Super Bowl or two (or three), you'll see a lot of these "realists" turn into "homers". That's just how it works. Was the same way in 2007. These are lean years, so people (including myself) are getting frustrated.

I'm a homer at heart, I just won't deny what I see. I use my head not my heart when expressing my opinions. I would love to be proven wrong, I just know I won't be with certain players.

Least elway took his bad teams to the Super Bowl multiple times
True. It's also possible Elway would have as many as five rings if the rest of his team played as well as he did in getting them there in the first place.

Thank God. That totally makes up for him not being able to lead this team to the playoffs since 2009.

He didn't get the chance last season, as he missed the game that would have gotten them in but let's still blame him for that as well.

It is true that I mentioned Romo and Elway. It is not true that I made a comparison.

You clearly were comparing there situations before Elway won his Superbowls in an effort to deflect the blame Romo receives for our lack of success. This was in the middle of your rant on players in the spotlight who didn't win championships. Along with Lebron James and Nolan Ryan.

I was a big homer in 2007. It's just hard to take this team seriously until they start playing better on the field. They do the same things every single year except they find new ways to lose games.

Wait. My bad. Allow me to use a more appropriate example. John Elway practically owned the AFC in the mid-to-late 1980's. Cleveland fans (Hey look! Cleveland again. Same world, huh?) thought Elway was some sort of assassin as often as he kept throwing daggers through their hearts. In three Super Bowl appearances during that time, Elway...
Nope. No comparison made between Romo and Elway here. I do see a ship though...

DEZ will be in there too... Possibly Sean Lee?

Maybe if Lee could play a full season he'd be on there. That's not to sound like a disgruntled whiny fan, I love Sean Lee. Butt here are other good LBers that make the same or bigger impacts and don't have the health problems.
