He won't be winning Offensive Player of the Week this week, but after 2 games he has 29 completions in 53 attempts, for 531 yards, 6 TDs and 1 int... that's a 54.7 completion percentage (a little low for Tony), a 10.0 yards per attempt average (VERY good), and a stellar quarterback rating of 119.3...

I can live with that...

I can live with it too. We are taking more shots downfield this year which are low percentage high reward passes. I'd like to see his percentage higher, but for now I'll take the trade-off. If he never throws to Hoyte again that percentage will rise.

There are a ton of QBs in this league who bust out big games. However the greats are the ones who when they aren't having huge games, still manage an efficient showing -- you get a guy who can has 5-6 huge games and 10 or so solid performances and you have a great QB.

Also, no fumbles yet.

It could be argued that so far, his play has been error-free... the one turnover he surrendered in the opener was really a great play by the defender...

If he protects the ball, the Boys will be tough to stop offensively... as we saw yesterday, he doesn't have to be great for the offensve to dominate (though it helps when he is, for sure), he just has to not turn the thing over...

The completion percentage I think is a bit deceiving given the drops he's had and the plays taken away from penalties.

He should still be hitting a higher percentage than that... it's the only criticism you can fairly level at him right now, but it's a legitimate one...

But look at it this way, as good as he's been, and he's still got room for improvement?? I mean, once again, the bottom line is a quarterback rating of 119.3... can't wait to see him improve on that...

Well he did face a pretty talented Miami defense. Miami has some problems but they still have a pretty good defense that was putting some pressure on Romo through out the game.

I am really happy Romo is doing well. I like what he has done so far and he's the kind of Qb that is unpredictable to the Defense.

The only thing that bugs me about Tony is his really odd habit of throwing off the back foot when he doesn't need to. I really think that when some of the passes he throws are off, it's because of that. It just looks really undisciplined as far as mechanics goes. I hope he can correct it. (Maybe when Wilson gets back it will help.)

Disagree. Our OL stonewalled their pass rush pretty much the whole game. He certainly did NOT face pressure "The whole game". At times? Yes. But for the most part, the OL shut their pass rush down.

That's the way I saw it, Romo have pretty fair protection... for the second game in a row...

I repeat, I think our offensive line might be pretty good...

They'll be tested next week, that's for sure.

I think the line did a decent job but Romo was doing a great job of buying time in the game and Maimi seemed to be doing a pretty good job in coverage.

They did cover good, but thanks to our OL, Romo still had plenty of time to wait for those routes to come open.

Our OL was OUTSTANDING in pass protection yesterday.

I felt it was good not outstanding and saw plenty of plays where Romo made defenders miss to keep plays alive. I'm not down on the OL except for some penalties they had and I do think Miami defense is a good defense. I think the protection was much better against the Giants than it was against Miami

I'd love to see Romo's passing breakdowns by halves: 1st half passing to date, 2nd half passing to date.
