After a 62.5% game and a 50% game with a few drops I am not sure you can level that on him. If you give him those 4 drops he is at 2 - 62% games

I can live with it too. We are taking more shots downfield this year which are low percentage high reward passes. I'd like to see his percentage higher, but for now I'll take the trade-off. If he never throws to Hoyte again that percentage will rise.

Owens also dropped two yesterday.

Romo's completion percentage isn't going to be that high this year. Garret's calling a more downfield game.

Completion percentage is really a dumb thing to be looking at anyway. Yards per attempt is a much more accurate barometer of a QB's success. It's much better to be 4/10 for 93 yards than it is to be 8/10 for 37 yards. Call it the Brunell effect.

Kind of! Using your 8/10 for 37yds, suppose 5 or 6 of the completions are for 1st downs? Stats are meaningless without the supporting data.

I think the completion percentage, given the length of passes he's attempting is darned good.

It could be argued that so far, his play has been error-free... the one turnover he surrendered in the opener was really a great play by the defender...

If he protects the ball, the Boys will be tough to stop offensively... as we saw yesterday, he doesn't have to be great for the offensve to dominate (though it helps when he is, for sure), he just has to not turn the thing over...

I actually thought he was brilliant yesterday. When pressure came his way, he was like Barry Sanders back there, and managed not to fumble or throw an interception.

Glenn not being in the line-up really showed it's ugly head yesterday, because Crayton and Hurd weren't seperating from their corners, and they were double/triple teaming Witten and obviously double teaming TO. So Romo had to pull the ball back on several occasions, yet he still found a way to make plays. Miami had a great defensive game-plan.

Not sure I would go that far, some of his throws have not been great but I'm not complaining. He is giving us better QB play than anyone since pre-1999 Aikman.

If he's got the fumbling thing under control then the next thing he has to work on is how he starts games -- he's carried over from last year a tendency to start slow -- like his idol Brett Favre, Romo seems to be a bit too pumped early and it keeps him from getting into a rhythm right of the bat.
