You think Weeden or Cassel come back to beat the Bills after throwing five INTs?
LOL they couldn't made a comeback like that in their dreams.

Depends on how literal you want to get with it. If I had to take Tony at his very worst...say the 5 INT Buffalo game...I would take Weeden or Cassel over him.
But, the same could be said about virtually any QB.

That was the most turnovers Romo has had in a game but I wouldn't say that was his worst game because although he turned the ball over a number of times he was very productive and the Cowboys won. In between the turnovers he was making enough plays to keep the Cowboys in the game. In the final 4 minutes of the game he was brilliant as he led the team to a game winning FG. He made some great decisions with the Cowboys out of time outs. He masterfully worked the sidelines to stop the clock positioning the team for the game winning kick. I would take the Weeden and Cassel we've seen this season any day over the Romo we saw in the second half of the Lions game in 2011. That's the only loss I've ever pinned entirely on Romo.
I highly doubt Cassell or Weeden could ever get that kind of lead on what was a playoff football team in Detroit in 2011. Romo made some incredibly numbskull throws, but he still got us a 24 point lead. Not to say he's absolved of blame, but you have to blame Garrett too. TAKE THE BALL OUT OF HIS HANDS. If you just run the ball in the second half Detroit wouldn't have had enough possessions to comeback. Murray hadn't been unleashed yet and that's inexcusable. It was clear as day then that Felix Jones and Choice weren't ever gonna be lead backs. Just another example of his incompatence.
Forget Romo. Except for the Atl game, this team hasn't even been able to keep up with average qb's/teams in the points scored department.
New Orleans and New England both had their lowest points totals allowed for the season against Dallas. Only one team has scored less points against NY. There were three teams who have scored less against Seattle, though it's not exactly exclusive company. Plus, it was only 12 points.
Relative to the competition, this offense has been well below average for four weeks straight.
Tom Brady.
Eli Manning.
Drew Brees.
Russell Wilson.
All of those guys are BIG TIME quarterbacks.
Yeah the offense stinks, but I blame Garrett as much as anyone. All these teams are running pick plays against us and we refuse to do the same. Same formations over and over again. I mean my God change things up every once in awhile. This scheme is more vanilla than vanilla ice.
Yeah I guess Romo gets no credit for a miraculous comeback. Two back to back drives. With no time outs, under two minutes, and Romo did a masterful job of dissecting the Giants defense. Not just that drive, but throughout the game diagnosing their blitzes and changing calls at the line of scrimmage and getting Dallas in the best possible play possible. Weeden absolutely did not win the game. It was already 13-3. He made one key pass, but was really more about Maxwell quitting on the play.

the Seattle busdriver is not really big time, not sure how he is still considered that after the INT in the SB last year which cost his team the game
Exactly... The most over-rated QB Russell Wilson. Big Time... U serious?
Let's see, he came into a situation where he had the #1 defense, a rushing attack with a guy named the "Beast". Put Romo on Seattle's team the past years and he wins a superbowl.
*(very good whole read)
Tony Romo at his very worst wouldn't be as bad as the Cowboys' backup quarterbacks

The Dallas Cowboys are 2-5. It's worth noting that they won their first two games of the season, and have lost their last five.
With the exception of a 30-6 loss to the Patriots, the Cowboys' losses have been winnable games. Dallas blew a two-touchdown lead to Atlanta, turning a 28-14 advantage into a 39-28 loss. The Cowboys lost in overtime to the Saints. The Cowboys lost 27-20 to the Giants, a game they had tied with seven minutes to go. The Cowboys lost by one point to the Seahawks, and had the ball down 13-12 with an opportunity to win.
It's also worth noting that Tony Romo, the Cowboys' four-time Pro Bowl QB, was injured in the team's second game of the year, the last one the Cowboys won. It's not exactly groundbreaking to say the Cowboys are struggling because of Romo's injury, but it's deeper than that.
The Cowboys are losing winnable games because the performances by Tony Romo's replacements have been worse than the worst games Tony Romo has ever played...
That was Pete Carroll's fault if you remember correctly. You have Beast Mode and you call a pass play.
Hate to say it, but our clown of a coach would've probably done the same thing.

And after throwing five picks (and another giveaway on a fumble), Tony still got them in position for the game winning FG at the end. They scored 9 points in the last 20 seconds to pull that one out. That was probably more improbable than the NYG game to open this season. Don't know for sure, but I doubt Cassell or Weeden could have pulled that off.

I don't see Weeden throwing 5 picks. Could it happen? Sure.
Like I said. It's how literal you want to take the statement. I wouldn't want Peyton Manning at his very worst over Weeden or Cassel.
YR
No.
I don't think Weeden or Cassel would likely throw 5 interceptions in the first place.
How you miss that part of the logic....well...says a lot.
YR
Yes, like maybe you need to write more clearly?
By the way, logic isn't relegated to a single conclusion. You can arrive at a different conclusion or multiple conclusions from the information given and still be logical.
I just found it odd that you would make a comparison between Romo and Weeden/Cassel regarding interceptions.
