Tony Romo calls to many audibles

No one can say that Garret is holding romo back any longer. Callahan is calling the plays now. They even said romo will have more input into game plans and playcalling during the week. Romo also has authority to audible in game and he does so pretty frequently. Jerry even said romo is like a coach on the field. Romo appears to have at least an equal amount of authority and freedom as any QB in the NFL right now.

It's Garrett's system and yes it's holding the WHOLE team back.

Whatever they were doing out there in the 2nd half is something I've never seen before from the Cowboys.

I think people are confusing the hurry up with the no huddle. We've been running the no huddle. Romo is good in a hurry up when you run up to the line call a quick play and just go. All the no huddle does it forces the defense to get back to their stance and not rotate players in/out.

But there is way too much yapping at the LOS. Simple, if you see Dez one on one, say tomato and throw the fade. No need for all this other crap, the design of this offense is just flat out dumb and ineffective.

I think there is some confusion about Romo being good in the hurry up. He did it a lot last year but it was during games where we were we were majorly behind and the defenses were were playing were playing prevent against us thus opening up the middle of the field. Just 2 games off the top of my head was NYG and WAS at home.

They need to go back to calling two plays and Romo simply yelling "kill kill" to change to the other one. Much like last year, it appears the Cowboys are outsmarting nobody but themselves.
