Tony Romo.... cocky and arrogant?

bears fan here.

From a fan of another team, I haven't seen the cocky side of him yet and I've watched all the games he's played in. I really like his story, kinda reminds me of the Kurt Warner story, you guys found a true talent and I look forward to meeting you guys in the playoffs.

How do you think Romo will stand up to the pressure we can bring on a QB, do you think he's seen anything like that yet?

Grossman started out for us like Romo is doing it for you, hopefully you don't have to deal w/ the ups and downs like we have until we play :)

You guys do bring a heavy pass rush with quick and fast players that fly to the ball. But I think that all that does is make you the unsuspecting victim of Romo's quick release.

I do think that he's seen something like that. Have you looked at the players who make up our front line? That's who he practices with day in and day out. Obviously, Romo has prepared for quite a few things.

At least that's what 22 of 29 completions suggests to me.

By the way ...

:welcome:

We'll see, we're no Tamp, Commanders, Car, NYG team. Our defense is capable of creating havoc every where on the field. I'm not saying Romo won't be able to have a good game vs us, just that it would be much more challenging than anything he has seen thus far. We've made some of the best quaterbacks in the league look like rookies at times over these past 2 years.

Again, I look forward to playing you guys in the playoffs. :D

You and I - just keepin' up with the Jones'. ;)

I'll take our Jones and our quarterback over yours all day.

Similar to Indy, I think we match up well against you guys. And when you disect the match ups, and if we can avoid penalties, we look like the better team, IMO. You guys just have the better record.

Chicago and Dallas are very similar on defense, which I think is more of a push than anything. On offense we are top 5 most categories and only continue to get better. It would be a good matchup, but we are starting to put it together, whereas it appears that your wheels are starting to come off. It's still a long season though.

their (that's for you Rack :)) just mad that Gradkowski isn't doing anything worthy of becoming cocky

You know we are back when everyone starts hating on all our players, FEELS GOOD!!!!!! I will say this about Romo i do think he might be a little bit cocky but he is not arrogant. and you know what you need to be a big cocky to succeed in this league as a QB.

I am not trying to deify Romo but I just see him being very confident and enthusiastic. Opposing fans don't want to like our quarterback so some of those fans find ways to demonize him. Remember Aikman went through derision for a number of years.

Fans of football in general are more balanced and appreciate talented players no matter what team.
