Exactly.............anybody with an IQ above a second grader could tell that something was wrong with Romo, he kept dumping water over his head like he was fixing to pass out and his legs were wobbly, he was staring down receivers, in short, he should have never been on the field yesterday.

Romo getting hurt is on Jerry and Coach Clap..................maybe if this POS coaching staff and their crayon playbook could have won just a single freaking game during Romo's absence, then maybe Romo could have sit an extra week or two and got right.

crayon playbook !!!!!!!! I love that , funny !something was wrong with Romo, he kept dumping water over his head like he was fixing to pass out........ I noticed that too,
and he did it after halftime too, and I was thinking he just came out of locker room ? so why do that.?
The answer is , either he was taking some pain meds that made him groggy, or he had not slept in awhile.

Either one means he should not have played., or at least not the 2nd half.
Groggy romo who has already thrown 3 picks or cassel ?? which do I choose ??
Well me I put cassel in to start 2nd half, but not JG., it is about to pass out romo.

Nobody wants or plans to be in the top 5-10 of the draft and you certainly don't want to end up there again. Yes, Romo was an UDFA, but if you feel the right qb is there at the top end of the draft, you run don't walk that card to the draft podium.

I don't want losers who throw in the towel when faced with adversity. Neither does Jones or Garrett. Only fans with quitter mentalities. I'm amazed at how many of them like you that there are.

So I take it you still believe the Cowboys will make the playoffs?

Is it possible that Romo might have been brought back prematurely, and that's why it broke again so easily? I'm hoping that this is the case... And that having 9 months for it to heal this time will make it strong enough to endure 2-3 more seasons, but then again I know his back will also be of concern moving forward... I'm now completely on board with trying to find Romo's heir apparent, but at the same time I would love for Romo to overcome the odds and have a return to form, which would make us real contenders in 2016, which is something we all want...

I really hate when people use this comparison. Before the draft all you heard was Luck was a once in a generation QB prospect. Now we can't draft one high because they aren't Luck? Cam wasn't an Andrew Luck prospect either and look what he's doing. Bortles wasn't and he's looking like he can be a good QB. If you're waiting on the next "sure thing" Luck QB you won't be getting one for another 10-20 years.

I'm talking about using a high draft pick on a QB. Smart teams don't pick a QB high "just because", they take a QB because they are the best player available or close to it.

Since you brought up the 2011 draft with Cam, I will too since it is the perfect draft to look back at.

Can was considered raw but most thought he was a good pick at number one. If we are at number one and a Cam prospect is there, pull the trigger. After that 3 other QBs went in the top 11...Jake Locker, Blaine Gabbert and Christian Ponder. All 3 of these teams drafted a QB high again in a few years, they passed over players such as JJ Watt, Tyron Smith and Robert Quinn to make that pick. The Bengals took Andy Dalton essentially a whole round later.

Sorry if I am sitting there at pick 6, I want to take a Julio Jones or JJ Watt prospect , not Jake Locker or Blaine Gabbert.

hurts to be actually thinking about the draft position when there are 5 games left....but taking a step back, there are SO MANY need positions...everyone wants Tony's replacement and I am not adverse to that if that person is the best available with the first rounded...I just find that hard to believe...the positions I think are more important that QB in round 1 (in some order) are LB, S, RB, RT, WR, possibly CB depending on if Mo comes back (Scandrick will be back), heck, even DL depending on if Hardy is resigned....perhaps they just go with someone like Stanley @ RT to pair him up with his former teammate from ND, Martin...too early to tell...

...to me, the best case scenario (that will never happen) is that Payton is brought in in some capacity if they are going to groom a rookie QB...otherwise, we go down the Ponder road instead of a "good" QB road....

i wish tony would tell us what it was.

some of it was always trying to avoid contact...its why he had 5 int's in 2 games.
