Cool stuff, he's by far the player I'd most like to see get a ring before he retires, man what a story would that be. Started playing football his Junior year, went to a small college, went undrafted, It would be an awesome underdog story.

Seriously? wooowwww...

Antonio Ramiro I is massively better than Bobert Bob Griffen III at this point.

We don't know about Foles yet, but he looks good.

We do know about Eli, and he sucks.

Yeah. And I don't even know how to spell "Foles". What's up with that? When everybody knows how to spell your name ... then holla at me. Until then, he needs to go somewhere, sit down.

The Talking Heads in Philly just ranked the NFC East QBs: Eli (because he's done it); Fowles; RG-0&3; and then Tony.

Hate is a terrible thing. What has Fowles done but rode that White Rabbit on a steady diet of 4-Leaf Clovers? They said they ranked Tony last because he finds a way to lose. Please.

You know, I can see the justification for putting Eli ahead of Romo, the rings talk. While I think that both have a bright future, RGIII and Foles aren't in the same category as a guy like Romo, and how could they be? They've only just begun their careers, while Romo has been a franchise QB for the better part of a decade. The idea that Romo finds a way to lose is going to follow him until he wins the big one, that's just how it is.

I'm 46, really way too old to have a favorite player. But if I have one, he's it. Always comes across as a human being and class act. Really hope he wins a Super Bowl some day.

I can confirm, beyond a reasonable doubt that he is indeed a human being.

I love me some Romo. Only the Dallas mediots, BSPN and NFL network can turn people against a player like Romo. He is the epitome of a self made player succeeding against all odds. Thank God for Romo and we will miss him when he is gone...

Our success hinges on Romo's health and I pray he stays healthy for the long haul!

I don't see the problem.

Eli has 2 rings, Foles looks promising, and if RG3 can get back to his rookie form, he's way better than Romo. I would also rank Romo the 4th best QB in the NFC east.

Romo is such a dork! No matter what clothes he wears, he always looks fat and out of shape. lol

And one of his happiest moments is playing video games and beating a 6'7" friend of his? (that must have been fun).

Then he has the audacity to say the he tries to get better every day. (uh, yeah, right).

Why he is on this team amazes me.

Rings are a team accomplishment. Foles did look promising, and RGIII has to try to get back his pre-injury rookie form. You just named the three reasons why nobody who doesn't have a dog in the fight realistically would put Tony Romo 4th in the NFCE right now. Unless, maybe, you're specifically worried about his play dropping off after the back surgery, I guess.

Would you be saying rings are a team accomplishment if by some miracle Romo was a 2 time Super Bowl MVP? You gotta give credit where credit is due. Eli was red hot during those Super Bowl runs and you can say he is the main reason why the Giants won them.

I smell a familiar stench.

I can't voice my opinion here? My opinion that Romo can't get it done and at 34 coming back from an injury, there is 0 chance he is going to get better? Trust me, I would love to live in la la land where Romo is a top QB and is going to get us to the Super Bowl. But I have about 8 years of data that suggests Romo can't.

Yes you can, but I say your opinion stinks.
That's my opinion.

You go out of your way to say troll-like stuff about Romo and you're relentless about it

Even a feel good thread...you have to drop in a take your predictable dump on it.

I want you to point out right now what "troll like stuff" I say about Romo?

All I have done here was point out FACTS.. 8 years of FACTS. That's all I do here. 8 years of not getting the job done. Is this "troll like stuff"? I really want you to point out. On the other hand, the stuff you say can be labeled as "troll like". The amount of excuses you make for Romo is "troll like". If Romo, by some God given miracle, wins a Super Bowl - I will shut up. Until then, I have the right to point out facts about Romo.

Yes. Of course. Because it's true no matter who the QB is. That's a weird question.

And, yes, Eli was red-hot during that run. He played great, no doubt about it. Still second to his DL, but he was a major component of those teams that accomplished those two important team accomplishments.

Last year, though, he wasn't nearly as good as Romo, and it wasn't even close. No way would I take him over Tony at this point heading into next season. And I doubt few would.

If you don't think what you say about Romo is troll-like, that's you're prerogative.
To me, you are the very definition of it. Always taking small samples and projecting it all around and always holding him..almost solely...accountable for team results.
Then hinting that Kyle freaking Orton is a better player...or that RG3 in year 1 form dwarfs Tony.
It's lunacy.

I get mad at myself sometime for even dignifying your rubbish with a reply.

That's why I asked if you wanted to mutually ignore each other.
It might be better for both of us.

I'm not kidding here...sometimes I think you have some sort of mental handicap. If that were the case, I could understand it more.

I mean, that Washington game two years ago (I notice the more recent one doesn't count with you) saw Dallas with a team that could not run at all, could not block at all, could not defend the run at all, and at the end of the game was missing its three top WRs (no Dez, Miles, or Harris) to go with no run game. Yes, a beat up Romo did screw up...but good luck on at least that final drive finding anyone that was driving it for the win with 4th stringers and no run game.

I don't think you troll. Neither would I stretch to say that all you do is point out facts. You've got a fairly clear agenda on this topic, which is fine, but you certainly don't let data get in the way of it. Much of the time, it ends up with you pointing out an accomplishment the team failed to achieve and then blaming that on the QB entirely.
