So let's agree to disagree shall we?

Yes, we can certainly agree to disagree but do me a favor and don't put words in my mouth. The comment about "Well good luck with your stupid sucky QB" was over the top man. I don't think Tony is stupid or sucky. I think he is a good QB and an even better guy. I truly like him. I just know for a fact his elimination/playoff game stats are well below his normal regular season play.

Fair enough, it's just how you came off. Seeing as there are a ton of Romo haters on here, it's hard to tell who's being critical and who's just hopping on Stephen Smith's junk. Yes, The Cowboys have been atrocious for longer than I'd like. That isn't on Tony's shoulders. Defense has to show up. Offensive line has to protect/not be offsides always. Receivers have to catch/run proper routes. Running game needs to be consistent. Coaches, ugh...Don't even get me started. Is Tony perfect? No. He's made me shake my head some games. Never said it, I just get tired of hearing "Elimination/Playoff games" followed with his name only. Go watch those games and tell me what the rest of the team and coaches did to help us get a win. You play video games at all? I love to play Call Of Duty. I'd say I'm pretty darn good at it. However, when I'm on a team full of 8 year olds, My kill/death ratio is going to look just as bad because I have NO support. It takes a team to win a team sport/game.

No, I don't consider myself hater, I prefer realist. It is never Tony's fault alone in those games, but it is clear that he isn't his normal self in those games either so that means he does share in the blame for the team being unsuccessful. I'm sure even Tony would agree with me on that. His was attrocious in the last elimination game he played in against Washington 2012. The defense was bad too so it wasn't all his fault be he sure as hell wasn't blameless.

I don't play video games that much anymore, i do have an arcade mame machine that I play rarely but I do understand your analogy. Tony certainly has an uphill battle. All the players do thanks to Jerry and his bad decisions. It's been 18 years of no success.

I wish I could like this more than once!!

If you don't think what you say about Romo is troll-like, that's you're prerogative.
To me, you are the very definition of it. Always taking small samples and projecting it all around and always holding him..almost solely...accountable for team results.
Then hinting that Kyle freaking Orton is a better player...or that RG3 in year 1 form dwarfs Tony.
It's lunacy.

I get mad at myself sometime for even dignifying your rubbish with a reply.

That's why I asked if you wanted to mutually ignore each other.
It might be better for both of us.

I'm not kidding here...sometimes I think you have some sort of mental handicap. If that were the case, I could understand it more.

I mean, that Washington game two years ago (I notice the more recent one doesn't count with you) saw Dallas with a team that could not run at all, could not block at all, could not defend the run at all, and at the end of the game was missing its three top WRs (no Dez, Miles, or Harris) to go with no run game. Yes, a beat up Romo did screw up...but good luck on at least that final drive finding anyone that was driving it for the win with 4th stringers and no run game.

The Talking Heads in Philly just ranked the NFC East QBs: Eli (because he's done it); Fowles; RG-0&3; and then Tony.

Hate is a terrible thing. What has Fowles done but rode that White Rabbit on a steady diet of 4-Leaf Clovers? They said they ranked Tony last because he finds a way to lose. Please.

Tim Hasselback (I think it was him. He was on the Cowherd show Thursday) ranked Romo fourth behind Fowles (1), Eli (2) and RGIII (3) because of the back issue.
Sometimes, I think these guys just do this to get a rise out of Cowboys fans. Cowherd even said as much one day. He said ESPN (like most outlets) pay attention to ratings. The Cowboys draw numbers. Because of this, the producers want the sports personalities to talk about the Cowboys. Doesn't matter whether it's good or bad, just talk about the Cowboys.

And nothing gets the twitter feeds and the message boards going than to dis the Boys. Now some of the criticism is valid, but some of it is just over the top.

My question to HassleBACK: you rank him 4th because of the back and you haven't seen him play one down since the back has been repaired. But he whipped the Deadskins tail in the midst of the the back situation and now that its fixed you won't give the man an opportunity to see if he can function. But, RG0&3 has a knee issue but you've ranked him ahead of Tony and he's been in the league all of 2 years (I'm not counting this year), running 50% of the time ... so to me he's a glorified RB .... so he's supposed to light up the league this year??? I ain't drinking that kool aid until somebody else taste it.

You resort to name calling? Come on man, you can do better. Like explain why he plays well below his regular season stats in the elimination/playoff games.

The team plays bad. Fairly easy answer and one that's quite obvious when watching those games.

Yup, agree to disagree. :) Thanks for a more well delivered opinion this round.

As stated in Dragnet: 'sorry Mam, the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.'

New York and Philadelphia have changed the receiver groups considerably, both teams.

Washington has assembled a pretty impressive group, and well into 3 deep/strong. One has to at least think RGIII.1 has something to work with. Throw in an interesting tight end and a pretty impressive start by their running back, and it raises an eyebrow in acknowledgement from this old linebacker.

But what you expressed has validity in discussion...

I thought the discussion were about the QBs. (We're on the same team, so I'm just making my argument.) You just changed the discussion to the offensive weapons. I'll put my guys up against them any time. Tony is the General directing our weapons. If you keep RG in the pocket and disguise the defense .... I'll take my chances with Tony. Also, I'm good with our boy DeMarco (if we're changing the discussion to offensive weapons).

No other response from a Cowboys fan need be offered. I wasn't challenging your grounds...just adding an additional element as we progress in our watching this team prepare for the NFC East. A stitch in time...so to speak.

Regarding the back issue, he said he had a similar injury, and it's very difficult to come back from back injuries, especially at the age of 34. At least that was his position.
Rankings are subjective. Do you base them on injury, on potential, on stats?
Given your emphasis, you get different rankings.
