So fat that he can have the best defensive player in the NFL grasping at air while he plants his foot into the ground, and quickly does his left to right juke spin.

J.J. Watt just got schooled by a couch potato.

That gif will never EVER get old. Avoids a free Kill Shot from Watt & throws a TD pass on a dime, with pressure coming, all in the same play.

that was a good one lol doing that to watt.
I wonder why other wb's dont try to copy this move , it isnt that hard.

The issue is that it is a blindside rusher and you have to pretend you are totally unaware of them until the last split second when you suddenly spin on them and leave them grasping at air. It requires incredible pocket presence, timing and agility to pull off. Most QBs who sense a free blindside rusher like this just go down. Most won't sense him at all.

timing it to pull it off is the hard part....a hair later and he's sacked...a hair earlier and watt adjusts.

funny thing is. he always rolls counter-clockwise and defenses know this and he still fools them.

all about the timing.

Those must be some old pics of Romo even the annual fat threads got to him he's been on the P90X program this offseason.

So he sees them coming, pretends he doesnt , not turning to look at them, then the timing has to be right , not too early or too late, and as next poster says, always spins the same way,
Good peripheral vision and nerve to wait and not look.
plus dumb pass rushers? I mean if your playing romo aim to his right , not directly at him.lol

For all the people that say Romo has a weak arm that throw was a rocket - would have gone at least 60+ yards in the air. He was on the -48 and threw a laser that T-Will caught 5 yards deep on the end zone.

Dude is a stud and the fans that deny it are Joe-Average fans that get their opinions from their ESPN app.

It's not just a matter of sensing. You have to train early to excuse the spin move. It's almost an instinct. I've seen guys try to spin, and they usually spin too soon or the wrong way. It's something that's instinctive or, if it is, you have to learn to do it when you're young. You won't see seasoned quarterbacks who've never used the move. You either have it or you don't.

Romo has it.
