If: he had another team around him.

Romo is not only better than Aikman or Elway, he would be the greatest ever if he had some of the teams the other greats had.

Could you imagine if he had played on the 70's Cowboys or Stealers teams. Roger only won 2 SB's. With that Cowboys team Romo may have had 5 or 6. Bradshaw only won 4 with that Squealers team. On that same team its no doubt Romo would have 6 SB wins minimum.

Or could you imagine Romo with Montana's Forty-Whiners. Joe won 4 as the most over-rated QB in the history of the NFL. How many would Romo have won with those Bill Walsh teams, 7 maybe 8?

Or what about those Joe Gibbs Foreskins teams that won SB's with Doug William and Mark Rypien. In that system Romo would have 3, 4, maybe even 5!

Or can you imagine if Romo had been playing in New England? He would never have lost those last 2 SB's that Tom Brady lost. Nor would he have needed long FG's to win the 1st 3 Brady won. Not only would Romo have won the 5 SB's that Brady has played in, that team may have been won several more with Romo under center.

The possibilities are endless with Romo on the RIGHT team. Romo is so good, if he was on some of these other teams he may have never even thrown any interceptions! And, undoubtedly he would be the league leader in all passing categories every year!

I stopped reading right there....

That would be nice. Each one is more annoying than the next. This place has really dropped in quality. It's a shame.

People sure are going off the deep end trying to justify the contract Romo just signed.

Yeah, Joe Montana. Most overrated QB ever.

Are people taking crazy pills or something? Romo will never be the greatest of all time. Ever.

Umm...guys he is trying to be funny. He failed miserably and wasted ten minutes out of his life but its even worse that you think he's serious.

Romo is a great quarterback, but not an all time great, and DEFINITELY not the best of all time!

Coming from one of his biggest supporters

Yes, I could. And knowing Tony struggles with the crossing routes as far as accuracy and consistency goes, I would be pleased with that scenario since the 9ers would have a couple of less rings and trophies.

Tony is very good, but there are just routes he cannot throw with any consistency. So happens those routes are the ones that made the 9ers great.

I'll say.
How about the other thread about Elway? I hope that was a joke too.

Can this forum be renamed the Troll Zone?

Is it possible that some can get over their personal opinions and allow otherrs to have opposing opinions and still love this team?

I do not begrudge anyone their opinion on the Cowboys. I may disagree, but I don't mask my prejudice by blanketing it in the word troll.

When you have a large number of posts created sarcastically just to ridicule a player on the team and not discuss football it has be transformed into something else then what it is intended for.

You can cue in on the word troll, but the OP was not an opinion, it was a gimmick.

I do not know the OP or his intent.

But, if going by what you think, I'd say he was illustrating absurdity by being absurd.

He is not ridiculing Romo. He is ridiculing those fans that think Romo's stats prove he is a top 5 QB, either currently or all time.
