The same thing every year finally has changed. Tony Romo is no longer one of the ten most hated players in the NFL. The list is made up of both most liked and most hated. They do a little explanation of each player and speculate why, in Dez's case, it' still about striking his mother.

Good question - even in the article it says they don't get it either. I just think he's not media friendly, is painfully shy and mis-read by people. I'm not aware of any legal problems.

I don't see it. I post on a forum where fans from all over the NFL post. One topic was listing your favorite player from each team. Dez name popped up more times than any other for the Cowboys.

Our rivals dislike him because he's good, so I don't mind that one bit.

But to the uninformed intentionally mislead by the media, I can see why they wouldn't like Dez.

Mix Cowboy QB (and all the attention that goes with it) with lack of team playoff success and people tend to make it personal. I understand that on a shallow level, but the hate (on a personal level) is very misguided.

He has a history. There was a misdemeanor gun charge, a hit and run in Buffalo and a DUI in 2012 so he kind of got a thug label on him early in his Buffalo days. However, I think he's turned himself around and now I think it's more perception than reality.

Eagles, Eli, Chip Kelly, Danny Boy Snyder, Jerry, and the Giants - really have no clue on the last one, Just don't ever recall seeing their cheerleaders on my TV screen when Dallas plays them.

What are the demographics, and regions of the ones who answered the most.

What are the stats for each on in the top ten?

I mean these types of quest5ions could go on for a while to narrow down the focus to find the reasons why each player was chosen.

Actually, I can't see much reason for many of these guys.

Vick, I can understand because I love dogs and there are a ton of people out there that do. That makes sense.

Suh plays boderline dirty so I can see that as well, although I love the guy and would kill to have him in Dallas. (Suh next to Aaron Donald is a particular pipe dream of mine).

Big Ben and his rapey past makes a little sense.

Sanchez, I don't get.

Suggs, I don't get other than he's sacked a ton of people's favorite QB, but so have Ware and Allen and they aren't on there.

Dez I don't get unless people don't like him being demonstrative on the sideline. Maybe folks still don't really know what happened with his Mom and so they view him as a Mother beater.

Cutler just has a look and an attitude about him, so while it isn't fair... I still totally get why he made the list. Sometimes I just want to smack him when he is doing an interview.

Revis I suppose because he never really played out his contracts and always wanted to re-do them. No other reason that I can tell.

Lynch? You got me. I love the guy and would take him on my team every day and twice on Sunday's.

Chris Johnson? No clue there either. He seems harmless enough to me.

I'm curious as to who actually is doing these rankings? Is it a national poll? Or just some yahoo making a list of his most hated players?

Also, I've never even understood why our Cowboys are on these moronic list, in no way shape or form are they dislikable people. What did they do to get put on the "most hated" list? I mean what did Dez do, give too many X Boxes out for Christmas? I guess you could say the way he carried himself this year really rubbed people the wrong way(they're misinformed), but then what about guys like Romo? Did he smile at you wrong? That's still no reason to put him on a list full of thugs, rapists, dog killers, or even butt fumblers(lol).

I guess it all has to do with the star, but I still don't understand it. If you ask me, Romo/Dez are two of our most likable players, yet they've both been on the most hated list lol.
