I love Tony, but we all know his career is near the end. What do you think he does after? He looks like he has potential in coaching. I wouldn't mind seeing him get a start on that here. He also looks like he could do well on NFL talk shows, like Irvin. Heck, even Shannon Sharpe managed it. Maybe he becomes a pizza spokesman somewhere or doing other commercials? Or does he have another plan like Staubach with real estate? Or maybe he just takes all his money he made and put it in a tub to take a money bath everyday? That would make for interesting sleepovers. Or does he do bad like McNabb and just follow a sorry path? Or does he just retire to a life sitting at home and baking crownies? What do you think happens? He's a Cowboy for life and belongs in the ring when he is done.

A lot of players just don't translate well into coaches. However, Tony has a great ablity to read defenses so I could possibly see a OC position for him at some point. Wouldn't mind him being the QB coach after he retires, cant be worse then Wade, and he would be able to continue to groom Hackenberg after he retires and he takes over. (Yes I am insinuating that's who we are going to draft)

Not with his back now... I can see him in the media.

He's good but not good enough to make a career out of it playing in tournaments especially with his back. You have to dedicate your life to golf he's dedicated his to football. He could open up a course and be a club pro that might be enjoyable for him.

I think he'll be like Troy and be on the #1 team broadcasting quickly.

I'd assume Peyton and Tom Brady will be winding it down around the same time as Tony does, not sure what their plans are, def see Manning on a pregame show, Brady seems too dorky

Romo will do well as a NFL QB coach for a while then an OC for a while and then someday he'll be a HC some where. Where ever he goes, I wish him much success and many Super Bowl victories.

From listening to Brady doesn't sound like he'll be winding it down anytime soon he wants to play well into his 40s.

Brady will turn into Montana IMO, we will rarely hear from him after football. I see Manning and Romo both going into coaching of some sort.

Coaching is an extremely challenging and draining job that is hell on your family during the season. Players don't want to retire and then immediately go right back to the grind.
For someone like Garrett, who was making backup QB money in the 90s and early 2000s, coaching is actually a pretty good come up. For Romo, it would be a pittance.

How so? Payton got two feet out the door... and the door is trying to push close
Tom Brady is a Pilar of Health Right Now.
Tony is A Question Mark...

All of these guys are headed in there own direction.

FYI... My Opinion, Brady Politics(wild guess), Manning Media, Romo Coaching.

Yeah, it would be volunteer work for Tony to work those insane hours. Two young boys and Candace, I don't see it happening.

Definitely see broadcasting as an option.

I think another option is creating a QB development program kind of like Gruden does. Work with HS and College QBs in the offseason. Less of a grind than coaching, but still in touch with football.

Well, he pretty much is our offensive coordinator right now............just look at how our offense ranks with him and without him.

Look at offense when Romo is in the game directing traffic...........top 10 most years

Look at offense when Romo is watching from the sideline.............29th in the league
