Seems like an intriguing prospect. Anybody know anything or seen him play. All I read is that for various reasons is he has played on and off the last few years.

NFL Draft Bible Pre-combine analysis...

Skinny: Tony Washington only played two years of football in high school, but was still able to attract interest from Louisiana State. However, grades kept the 6’7” 300 tackle from attending, and he instead attended junior college at Trinity Valley Community college in Athens. There, he was moved from defensive end to left tackle, a move he did not immediately embrace. After transferring to Abilene Christian, Washington has slowly worked his way into NFL Draft discussion as a left tackle, and has been ranked as high as the sixth best senior offensive tackle in the country. Washington admits that he messed up his chance to play Division I football, but says that the situation has made him stronger.

Scout's Take: Some might be surprised to see Washington from Abilene Christian ranked this high, but they won’t be thinking that when April comes around. Washington is a 6-6 300 athletic tackle, who some teams have as high as their number three overall senior tackle in next April’s draft. He does a good job being light on his feet and show good pass blocking blocking skills. The biggest question with Washington is that he plays a lower level of competition and that is what really holds him back from everyone truly believing that he could be a starting tackle in the NFL. The biggest thing that will help Washington draft stock will be the All-Star games when he will be able to show his talent against players from Division one.

Our View: Washington has great size (6’6 ¼, 302), athletic ability, and the body type that scouts look for. Despite a little stiffness, he moves very well, has a presence about him, and is a solid pass blocker, which will make him an ideal left tackle prospect. He earned 1st team All-America honors and LSC Offensive Lineman of the Year plaudits last year for his consistent play. Don’t be surprised if he gets look in the late rounds.
