Too bad no Ron Rivera interview...

Pure conjecture.

But I'm use to seeing posts by you take an extreme view on things.

Jerry hired Parcells, perhaps the best "name" to be available over the last decade-- and where did that get us?

Miami fans can tell you what their expectations were after the Dolphins hired the supposed "best man" for the job after Shula retired.

There are no sure things, but when you disrespect the process of trying to find the best man for the job by refusing to interview the most successful candidates, you have no one to blame but yourself for failure.
Not a single one of Jerrys "candidates" has been interviewed by any of the 12 teams that needed a HC the last 2 years. Not a one.
Jerry is taking his ball and heading home with it...unfortunately its the fans who will have to pay the price.

Oh and Jerry also.

:bang2:

if we get Rivera... do we also get a Lovie Smith Clone?

Maybe Rivera will bring Urlacher with him instead!!!

I've heard it all now!

Well...I got to say it does seem a little crazy to not at least bring some of those guys in...but I did find that Disrespect the process line pretty funny.

Sounds like something we might hear on an episode of Sopranos when someone wants to become a made guy without going through the proper process.:laugh2:

Maybe they need to do the paper burning/blood thing! LOL!

Honest to God Brain some folks have lost their ever-loving minds over this stuff-- but it's good entertainment. ;)

Tee hee. Yeah that was funny. :laugh2:

BTW, I believe Wade was interviewed last year for an opening. But I don't remember where.

I am being entertained for now.

Much better than the normal offseason talk.

However I already know it is going to get on my nerves...as most repetitive things do.

All I know is we better hope, with all the hope our backsides can muster, that Jason (on O) and Todd (on D) can actually "split the atom" because if not we are going to be in a world of hurt. We better hope they are leaders of men because Norv is only a leader of QBs.

We should just hire Chad Kroger.

I was thinking more of the old members of CCR, or the label, suing J.Fogerty for sounding too much like CCR. :laugh2:

If Rivera and Ryan don't at least get an interview, it will prove that Jerry wasn't one bit interested in finding the best man for the job ... just the best croney for the job.

If you want entertainment, read some of the posters who have been on a two month rampage about "Settling for Mediocrity" and "Spinning our wheels under Parcells" now try to sell hiring a career loser like Norv so he can keep the seat warm a couple of years for another guy.

I can't wait to see the season ticket ad campain.

Hey Cowboy fans, are you ready to waste a couple of years with no direction? Boy, do we have the team for you. The 2007 Cowboys, this year we're buying time !!!

Good point.

I said that yesterday.

Some of the very same people being OK with Norv...are the very ones who were ragging about Bill.

Brilliant observation. Couldn't agree more.
