Too busy to post

Nine years ago I was one of the very first people to join this forum and I have greatly enjoyed reading the opinions of many of the posters and I thank them all for so many years of their stimulating posts. It has filled a void in my life since I live on a remote cattle ranch and have no neighbors with whom I could discuss football or other interesting topics.

My interest in football has been waning and I will be posting much less if at all in the future as most of my time will be spent writing a series of books which I have been putting off for far too long. I would like to take a moment to express my appreciation to the posters who have been a bright spot in my life and to wish them all well in their personal lives. On the whole the mods have been great in doing a difficult and generally thankless job. I hope to visit occasionally to continue to read people’s opinions but doubt if I will comment much.

No, I will not be advertising my books in this forum nor posting any more about my area of special interest in life. I know this will be a great relief to some of you. Thank you all for tolerating me up to this point. I wish good luck to you.

My books will be non-fiction and I will likely self published and since I have a fairly large following from my own website and a couple of other forums where I post, I don't see that as a big problem. I will also publish them in the form of a new website or a blog.
