Ha-ha, you can talk about it all you want then after our next loss you can go back to talking about firing the coach and blowing the team up, lol. This board is bipolar.

yep 7-9 could win the east, and we should to be able to do that. I agree with others Detroit is a good gauge, we beat them, the defense continues to improve, Romo comes out of his slump, and we get Murray or Dunbar back. I like our chances in the east.

If we beat Detroit.. we will be 6-3 going into the Saints game. That will build up a lot of confidence for our team. Otherwise we will be 5-4. No way we don't kill Minny.

With the cowboys and their history over the last few years...Yes IMO it is too early to talk playoffs.

Not to mention they achieved a whopping 17 points WITH decent field position after takeaways. What's with this offense? Seems they play to go home.....win or lose.

I don't mind talking playoffs now - what's the harm? We're not suiting up and playing overconfident on Sundays!

We are 3-0 in division which is huge. If we win 2 of our final 3 division games we should be golden. The hardest one IMO will be at Washington but all 3 could be tough as division games usually are.

So:

4-3 right now
2-1 future divisional games
2-2 NFC North games (Det, Minn, Chi, GB)
1-1 (beat Oak, lose to NO)

That gets us to a realistic 9-7 which should take the division since it is highly doubtful anyone else in our division matches our record and even if they do we will have most tiebreakers.

Eh, the second half offense was good. Two long TD drives and basically stopped trying to score with 9 minutes left in the 4th, just handing it off to run clock.

Right, so who would we play in the playoffs if we are the 4th seed at home? Looks like SF or Seattle. Scary games but sounds like fun! I have season tickets, so I would surely be at that game.

I hope the players aren't talking playoffs, but it's not too early for the boards to start talking playoffs.

I think we get to 10 wins. Win 5 of the 6 of Det, Minn, Oak, Wash, Phi, NYG. Probably go 1-2 out of GB, Chi, NO. Maybe gets us a 3-4 seed?

We've proven we can play with anybody. If we can just win the games we're "supposed" to win (whatever that means) and position ourselves well for the playoffs, a little run is not out of the question.

As a fan - never too early.

I wouldn't count the cowboys out of "bye" contention.

There is only one game difference right now.

Also keep in mind they go into Denver this Sunday. We too have a difficult match up against Detroit but unlike Washington, we can win our match up. Washington isn't far off from quit mode.. sure, they beat a banged up Bears team with a backup QB, but I'm not even thinking of them in the division race right now. Eagles have a slight chance and that is about it.

Washington, IMO is the most dangerous team to us in the division. The best running game and the best QB of the 3 other teams. As RGII gets healthier they will win more. I think they end up 8-8 at worst

Their best case would be 7-9 IMO. I personally have written them off. Our only potential competition is Philly and I don't think Vick coming back is going to fix that team. Their defense is a joke.

@Broncos L

vs.Chargers L

@Vikings 50/50

@Eagles 50/50

vs. Giants 50/50

@Falcons probably a loss

@Giants 50/50

I agree about the Commanders with RG3 at the controls. While a dangerous team he will miss time between now and the end of the season. While Cousins is a nice QB this offense was not built around him so he has that handicap. RG3 is QB that is at his best throwing no more than 25 passes a game, I see some really bad numbers from him next week to keep up with Denver.
