Too many mistakes from the sidelines and on the field

Great fight in the team to tie it up and Prescott showed that the playoff stage is certainly not too big for him but there were way too many mistakes tonight and why it's such a frustrating loss and frankly a failed season.

- Prescott's pass that was picked was just a dumb throw. He also should have had another picked but the S dropped it. You can't make mistakes like that, especially the Hyde interception. Also, on that last play where he got nailed, he was looking left and Witten appeared to break open but he missed him and tried to force it to Dez. Hit Witten there and I think we have a great shot at winning the game with a first down there and GB on its heels.

- Butler whether boneheaded penalties or dropped balls was a mistake machine.

- That's a colossal screw up by Jones at the end of the game there. People are getting on Marinelli and rightfully so, but he had the right D call there and Jones for some reason just either didn't see or didn't care that Cook ran right behind him.

- One of my biggest issues with Garrett and Linehan is they get too cute it seems in big games. And like clockwork it happened today. They got cute on 3rd and short a few times. They got cute inside the red zone at the end of the half when they could have and should have run Zeke. That's a tragedy right there. To spike the ball there was a mistake. They had more than enough time and you always have to be aware of the fact who is on the other sidelines - Rodgers. And while Prescott made a bad pass on the interception, the play call was idiotic.

Really sad and depressing evening. I honestly think GB was the one team that would give us the most trouble but if we could have gotten past them, we'd have been in the SB.

Let's see if Jones and company learn from this time. They didn't learn from 2 years ago where a bad pass rush killed them in GB. They saw it again today where limited pass rush allowed Rodgers to do whatever he wanted.

A seemingly perpetual refrain - we hope that Jones learns while other teams sail past us....

Coaching's not gonna change their attitude or how they approach games Garrett's attitude is....

The refs are experts
We have to do better

too passive to nice.....

as long as this team is coached by JG we are not going anywhere
this includes Scott Linehan

To be fair, they drafted Gregory and signed Hardy. Those were just really bad decisions, but its not like they didn't try to address the pass rush. This past off season they went el cheapo for sure--probably because they didn't want to get burned again. That's the Jones boys those--always over compensating.

Playing for FGs on a couple of drives was stupid as well.

Should of went for it on the first drive to set the tone.

Not using your time out and burning a first down was terrible as well. Playing for a FG and leaving Rodgers time shows a lack of attention to detail in my opinion.

Stupid response...why can't you answer the question....typical hater post.....

Lol you can't be serious. Okay, Josh Mcdaniels would be better.

Matt Patricia would be better.

The Oc from ATL would be better.

Call Jon Gruden, he would be better.

Call Bill Cowher, he would be better.

Literally anyone would be better.

Not a big Garrett fan, but I wouldn't want any of those guys except maybe MCdaniels, and there is nothing to say he would really be any better IMO.

Raise your hand if you truly believed this team would come out hot after two weeks off.

They did address the pass rush after the 2014 game. They brought the best pass rusher in FA (Hardy), drafted Gregory in 2nd round and re-signed McClain. None of those three worked, but it wasn't for a lack of trying. They just need to hit on draft picks like they did this year and hope Smith and Tapper can add something

He's the one I'd want the least from that list. When Josh McDaniels thought it was wise to use a 1st round pick on Tim Tebow, that told me all I needed to know about him.
