Couldn't agree more. It's frustrating because it's the same things that happened throughout the Romo era and even before that. I don't know if it's the team culture or what. Seems like we're extremely undisciplined and unprepared compared to other teams. We made mistakes on our first three drives. The first drive was on Garrett not going for the TD and settling for a FG on 4th and 2 on their 30. We should've set the tone early, and we should've known we weren't gonna compete with Rodgers trading FGs with this defense. The next two drives were killed by Butler and Williams, two WRs who consistently make mistakes in key moments. Now, the Butler thing was weird, but he still should've had some more awareness. You can't win with guys who don't know how to act in playoff football. Another thing was spiking the ball at the end. We played that last drive horribly. Not only did we not go for the kill shot, but we also gave them too much time on the clock to win it. I'm disappointed in Jones for giving up that big catch, but we shouldn't have been in that situation to begin with. It makes me appreciate coaches like Tomlin who aren't afraid to go for the points. Garrett is way too complacent with settling for FGs and has too much trust in this awful defense when the game is on the line. And how much longer do we have to hear that Marinelli is a miracle worker who has no talent to work with? He hasn't made any significant improvements to this D-line in the past 4 years. The only thing I know for sure is Dak is the truth. People say we could've won with Romo. We're forgetting, despite how good Romo was, he was due for an awful game a few times a year. I never saw that from Dak. He never put our team in a hole. He still has a lot to learn. He doesn't dissect and embarrass defenses yet like we saw Rodgers do tonight. But he has a rare poise that you don't see in any QBs, let alone rookies.
