i'm a fan of michigan's kenneth grant.
if he's on the board when we pick...it would be hard not to turn that card in.

It’s paramount we add a playmaking DT; I don’t care if we resign Odigy. We need to add talent inside. Inside pressure helps everyone on the outside.

While I definitely agree that we need to add a DT...we also need to add another pass rushing DE. "Everyone on the outside" is Micah Parsons by himself. I like Kneeland but pass rush isn't his top skillset, Golston is a solid depth piece, and who knows what we'll get from Sam Willimas off an ACL (or in general).

The Dline needs multiple players, not just a DT.

With so many needs, I think they can survive 1 more season patching up the position with another Lawson, Fowler type. Fix the run defense first!

Well you definitely need to add LB to the long list of needs too then. A DT isn't going to fix the problem by himself, there needs to be good LB's to fill the gaps and make tackles. Looking at Liufau almost by himself at the position for next year at the moment.

And then there's the compounding problem that if we do stop the run teams will just pass more. A less than stellar pass rush + serious questions at CB2 is a recipe for disaster as well.

I get that it's a lot of problems that probably can't be fixed all at once (especially with this front office), but I'm just pointing out that the logic of "a good DT will fix all of our problems" is very flawed.

I agree with that as well, we aren’t one playing away from fixing anything. In my opinion, you fix the run defense first as that is the biggest weakness

Graham likely won’t slide but Harmon is on his level IMO and one of my favorite targets in the 12-15 range.

If we miss out on him I’d be down for a trade down and targeting someone like Nolen.

if we double dip at dt...nebraska's ty robinson wouldn't be a bad option.

Nolan might be the best in the class. Very talented player that pops off the screen.

My gut tells me Dallas will not be drafting a DT high again this year. I feel like once Jerry gets burned it takes him a while to recover. He obviously hates drafting DTs early to begin with but after the Mazi pick, I bet he wants to stay away from DT early.

But, this year could be different. He may not have a choice. Only Justin Rogers and Mazi will be signed after this season. Golston, Odighizuwa, Watkins, and Joseph are all free agents in 2025. I actually do not see how Dallas does not sign a couple of free agent DTs.

I feel like this team is such a mess right now. Almost every position needs help, including QB. But DL, RB, OL, and WR all have to be priorities.
