Finally we can get a lot more accurate in mocks and discussions here, this will increase as the day goes on.

As of right now the highest we can go is 8th. Lions won so they are a 5 win team and picking higher. Silver lining on this is they will probably grab an elite WR before NYG can.

Panthers and Broncos wins result in the 8th pick, loses by both the 10th, a win by either we get 9th.

Who’s your pick?

I was just going to say that we need the Panthers and Broncos to win to move up to the 8th pick.

I like Surtain,we have a secondary which is filled with guys who cant tackle and he us a very good tackler.

If we get up to 8th we could be in prime trade down territory for a team in the early 10’s-teens looking for a QB.

Would you stay at 9 and take Farley or trade to 14 and get Horn plus a 2 & 4? I like the trade in that case for sure.

As you know, this is an offensive heavy draft at the top, which is good news for the Cowboys.
If teams love the top WRs that would help us out a lot.

Personally, I can see teams viewing the WR depth as pretty good for this draft and thus, won't be in a hurry to draft one high.

Chase, Smith, Pitts (yes Pitts), Waddle, Bateman, R. Moore, Toney, St. Brown, Olave, Marshall, Wallace. A lot of good WR's who will go in the top 60, if not top 50.

Chase (Lock)
Bama Receivers (maybe 1 will go ahead of us)
Pitts (he should be in that 7-12 range)
3 QB's (Lock)
1 Tackle (Sewell, another might be taken due to the need at the position)

That's a lot of top end offensive talent that realistically can all go within the top 10.
