Aikman stinks if you don't like listening to facts

yes, he has a tendency to ramble on, but what is Joe Buck going to offer anyways? he's pretty good to listen to when he's broadcasting the Cowboys, and they are doing well, he tends to get more animated

Yes but his facts are like this....
(WR catches the ball) Aikman: WR caught the ball, Joe...Me: No duh, really?!
(RB gets a first down) Aikman: RB got a first down, Joe...Me: No shiite, sherlock!!
(Someone scores a TD) Aikman: That's a Touchdown, Joe...Me: (Turning down the sound) thank God for remote controls

Hard to be surprised by a New Yorker or Jersey dude from Bleacher ranking Aikman as annoying...Although I don't see the bias that some point to in favor of the Cowboys...He comes off pretty even handed to me.

Very surprised to see Barkley in there since he was one of the few honest, funny and lucid broadcasters for the NBA, imho.

Bleacher has to be taken with a grain of salt, it's basically a message board

As annoying goes, Marv Albert, Costas and Al Michaels are all up there for me.

Barkley's too "real" for most people. I remember once hearing him flat out call a game boring at the half. I've respected him as a broadcaster ever since.

Troy Aikman's so annoying as a game analyst that FOX continues to slot him into their headlining games week-after-week, season-after-season. What a crazy strategy.

I'd rather listen to any of these guys for 100 hours than listen to Paul McGuire for 5 minutes.

And Charles is far from annoying. Yea he has his way of looking at things but at least he is consistent and fair. At least he says something and has an opinion. He doesn't overcomplicate stuff either, when the problem is one team is jacking up too many threes, that's what he says. No need to dance around the subject.

Troy is a little lethargic at times, but I'd hardly call him annoying. Gumbel and Dickie V, and sometimes Jeff van Gundy, those guys are annoying.
